Rockwell 6S Adjustable Double Edge Safety Razor

The Rockwell 6S is an absolutely beautiful razor - very pleasing to the eye. It is solid, well made and should last several lifetimes. It is also made in the USA which is a definite plus in my book. It delivers a very smooth shave and is also quite forgiving. I use this razor every day. Get one, you won't regret it!

I gotten into shaving with saftey razors over a year ago. My first was with the EJ89 paired with astra superior platinum. It provided me a close shave, however, I noticed my skin would be irritated from the tugging and pulling of the hair. I figured I either needed a more aggressive razor for the mild blade or I needed a very sharp blade for a mild razor.

I decided I wanted to experiment witj my settings.

Since I had money saved up, I invested in a Rockwell 6S and some feather blades. I started on the most mildest setting (the 1 plate) and it just provided an amazingly comfortable 3 pass shave that made my face feel baby smooth! It cleanly sliced away at my facial hair without issues. With no nicks or irritation afterwards. I would highly recommend this.

Have both the T2 and 6S, both purchased within 2 weeks. The T2 is a awesome shaver and the 6S is right there with it. I've utilized plate 2 for my entire shave routine and get a very smooth/close shave. The weight is a perfect balance in hand/on face. Really NICE razor and I would not be able to choose between the two.

Fantastic razor.
The all-stainless construction was the main factor I used in selecting it, as I was sick of dealing with corrosion/zinc pest in other razors. The stainless steal results in a pretty heavy razor, but some may find that to be a benefit.
The simple nature of the "fixed" adjustability results in a robust product.
I plan on buying more for other members of my family.

One of my better shavers. Easy to use. Changing plates while shaving is a little cumbersome. But knew this before I bought it.

This is my first higher end razor, so I don't have much experience for comparison. This razor is great. I have tried several of the adjustment configurations and there is not only a significant difference in my shaved result, but each adjustment provides the same shaving comfort. I am sold on this razor.

Yes, the stellar reviews are merited. This is a very good razor which you can dial in to fit your face. The last razor you'll need (though probably not the last razor you'll buy).

I received this DE razor about 2 weeks ago. It's a nice razor, quite a bit heavier than my others. I have been experimenting with the different plates. I find that for my beard, numbers 3 or 4 are comfortable. The 3 plates allow for close shaving of beards and skins from mild to more aggressive. My only complaint so far is that I had a spot of rust after using the razor for a few days. I have since drying it well and had no issues.

I’m fairly new to DE shaving. Started with a highly regarded razor. Received my 6S in the mail today and tried tonight on plate #2. Started with an Astra Superior platinum blade and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Love the weight and it’s just the right length for my hands. Looking forward to experimenting with different blades and plates. So far so good!!

Love the adjustable system and the weight of this razor. My go to is level 5 with KAI blades

Feels very solid and works very well. I love it. It is the finest razor I have ever owned, much better than the old Gillette speed dials from the 1960's.

I use #6 with any blade and it cuts very close with no nicks. I can shave against the grain on the first pass with no irritation. I'll probably use it for the rest of my life.

Great razor. Get a comfortable shave with all plates from 1-6. You can definitely feel the blade more the higher you go but no irritation or weepers on plate 6. Can get a CCS-DFS with 2 passes on 6. Only complaint is it is a bit of a pain to have to change base plates to change settings, however $99 is a steal compared to prices of "true" adjustable SS razors

This razor is well worth $100. I have found that my two favorite plates are 3 and 4 (seems no matter what blade I use, these two plates give a very close, comfortable shave). That being said, ALL of the plates work incredibly well.

Be prepared for the weight of this razor. I knew it would be heavy, being made of Stainless Steel. But I didn't realize it would be as heavy, in the hand, as it turned out to be. This is not a problem to me. I believe the weight truly helps this razor do an awesome job shaving.

If you're looking to up your razor game, this would be a GREAT place to start. Truly worth the money spent!

I like the razor, I hate the finish! It feels dry and like fine sandpaper! If I would have known how unfinished this razor feels, I definitely would have opted for the rhodium one from Razor Emporium. My next adjustable will be a Rex. RE has a '61 fat boy of mine right now getting a rhodium revamp...fingers crossed. Cheers Gents.

I walked in to Razor Emporium have my vintage razor revamped, and walked out with a Rockwell Razor as well.

I love this razor. The weight is great, and I like the industrial look.

The three plates with six different sizes allowed me to find a great shave. I chose #6 after trying the others.

Rockwell 6S has become my daily razor of choice, and my Merka is jealous.
