Great experience

Others are comparing this to a Henson. I disagree with that. This is so much more efficient than a mild, and even medium Henson. I do head and face shaves and with a medium Henson I have to do more passes compared to the Page. The Page is very efficient, slight blade feel. I have only used a Gem blade so far but it's great. I like the weight, and it isn't slippery at all for me when wet. It looks great (black) and it feels very well made. Great 7th razor for my rotation.

Great razor

Lightweight safety razor that reminded me of Henson only better. I like the magnet and washer built into the safety razor unlike other razors. Beautiful razor for the price and was able to try out a few blades with light irritation after shaving. I like that it has a life time warranty and made from Razor Emporium in house. I hope this safety razor lasts for years since it's aluminum especially the razor head.

Rex Page

It fits great in the hand and gives a really nice shave. the price is amazing for an American made Razor and for me, the magnet really comes in handy and I look forward to adding more Rex razors to my collection.

Close Shave But Lots of Drag

I ordered the silver version and got a close shave with no irritation. the problem I had was that the flat finish created a lot of drag on my face. I have tried several different soaps and presheaves and still got a lot of drag. The razor did leave my face smooth with no irritation. I really did want to love this razor but I think it will not be used very often by me. Mybe the black version would have been better. The Razor Emporium service was great as usual.

Not impressed...

I bought this razor for myself as a birthday present because I liked how it's a modern aluminum razor but with a vintage style to it.

I received it not too long and something threw me off, the stainless steel (Nitronic?) insert was off a bit and threw the looks any my excitement *way* off...

I expected much more quality control from a company who supposedly does stuff "In-house"...

And the price I paid as an international customer wasn't pretty either...

Would I recommend it? Only if the qc has improved since the Second Quarter mine was manufactured in.

The Page Provides

The Rex Page is a nice addition to my collection. When I found out that the Rex brand was part of the RE family, I decided to pick one up to help support the videos and work that Matt has given to us in the wet shave community. As I like lightweight aluminium DE razors, I thought I'd give the new Page a shot. I was not dissappointed. It is part of my weekly stable of razors and have been testing blades in it since it showed up and it seems to like an aggressive blade since it has a milder gap and exposure. over all a very nice razor.

REX PAGE JET BLACK

I never shave twice in a row with the same razor. I have shaved the last three times with this razor. I really like this, Page. It is very forgiving. It is mild but that's what I love about it. Great job Matt and crew. can't wait for my next shave!

Rex Page

Razor Emporium receives five stars--I have purchased razors, blades, and other items, and I have always been satisfied with the shipping and product quality. The Rex page is a nice-looking razor that shaves pretty well. However, I find loading the blades isn't as smooth as most of my other three-piece razors. I think the lightness of the aluminum and the way the two "slots" insert into the blade are a little loose. If I do not have an iron clamp or a grip when screwing the handle to the top cap and base plate, the blade can pop out and even turn sideways. I need to handle it with extra care, comparatively. I have two other aluminum 3-piece razors and do not have the same issue. It provides a decent shave, and I am happy to see another American-made razor at a good price point.

Rex Page gives a mild, no-nonsense shave every time

The Page is a good razor for someone new to wet shaving or as daily driver for experienced shavers. It would also be great as a travel razor. The comparison Matt gives in his video to shaves from a Gillette Tech are spot on - mild, smooth and efficient. After using this razor several times since purchasing it, I know that I can get a good, no-nonsense, irritation-free shave with the Page.

This is my first Rex razor purchase and I have to say that I was somewhat disappointed with the fit and finish. The razor looks good from a design standpoint, but the anodizing on mine looks like it has a slight smear on the bottom edge of the handle. It does not affect the functionality so I didn’t want to hassle with exchanging it. The anodizing on the Page has a matte finish which gives it good grip with wet hands, but also causes it to feel draggy on the face compared to a stainless razor. I do have 3 other anodized aluminum razors and they are all like that to some degree, with this one being the most draggy.

I don’t want to sound too negative about this razor because I am glad that I bought it and will be using it regularly. Additionally, I very much appreciate that it is 100% Made in the USA and I feel it is a good value for the price. I just wanted to give an honest review of my experience with it.

Love at first shave

Love affair with a razor. From the stunning craftsmanship, the maneuverability, smoothness, thw weight, and outstanding grip. This razor is exactly what I've been looking for. Normally it takes a few shaves to get accustomed to a new razor, but this one, felf like an old friend. Just so easy to use. Perfect for me who likes and prefers to shave every other day. 4-5 days, it struggled a bit but cleaned up on second pass. It is on the mild side, so if you want agressive look elsewhere. I love it and I'm so happy with my purchase. I wish this was my first razor, would have made the learning curve easier. Well done Matt, fine razor you have made here.

Lightweight Precision with Surprising Power

Don’t let the lightweight feel of the REX PAGE razor fool you — this aluminum-crafted shaver is a deceptively efficient performer hiding in plain sight.

At just $75, the PAGE delivers outstanding value. The machining is absolutely top-notch — crisp lines, flawless tolerances, and a finish that feels much more expensive than the price tag suggests. It’s clear that attention to detail was a priority in its design and production.

In use, the PAGE is mild and approachable, making it perfect for daily shaves or those with sensitive skin. But here's the twist: despite its mild personality, it's shockingly effective. It slices through stubble cleanly and comfortably, often achieving a DFS or better in just two passes. It's a "set it and forget it" kind of razor — intuitive, well-balanced, and drama-free.

The aluminum construction makes it feel featherlight, but it still provides excellent control and feedback. It’s ideal for travel or those who prefer a nimble razor without sacrificing performance.

Overall, the REX PAGE is a sleeper hit — subtle, sophisticated, and silently efficient. Whether you're a seasoned wet shaver or just starting out, this razor is well worth a place in your rotation.

Page razor

I was really blown away by this razor. I have many many razor ranging from $15 to $300. I enjoy aluminum razors even over titanium in some cases. One of my favorite razors is the razorock aluminum Lupo, But wow this page razor is right there compared to the Lupo. I'm 3 weeks in on the Page razor and I'm really loving it. This razor literally wants me to find another razor emporium razor close to it to buy. I'm a three pass daily shaver. I would highly recommend this razor!!!!

Rex Page

Well I was looking forward to getting this razor from Rex Emporium. Made in USA, CNC machined. I got it and shaved a week with it and was not disappointed. Smooth, just the right blade feel and BBS every shave with no cuts or irritation. Well machined and fits together like a drivers glove. I own many razors from Henson to Merkur sledgehammer slant razor. I have some in stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and even plastic (blue Phantom). I've come to appreciate that the best shaving razors I've used are CNC machined and I'm coming to better appreciate aluminum razors not only because they maneuver well but price is always a factor for me as I live on a fixed income. The Page felt great in the hand even when wet, never felt it slip while shaving. Looks great as well as I come to appreciate every day shavers as the Page certainly is. I have considerable experience (75 yrs old) and would consider this razor as one of my top three for sure and because it's built to last maybe the only one I end up with. The wait for this razor was worth it!

The Page is perfect!

Perfect shaver if you want a no nonsense smooth shave that is so easy a beginner would love it. As a seasoned wet shaver I appreciate how easy it is to grip and get a BBS shave even with 3 days growth. I bought the black one and it's a great looking unit.

The Page is a worthy addition to the Rex Lineup

At first glance the Page may seem out of place with all the stainless steel that as of now dominated the Rex lineup. But this Page is an amazing razor.
Aluminum
Designed, machined and assembled in America.
Fit and finish is, as expected, from Rex, 2nd to none.
From the first shave I was impressed by the Page, there is little to no blade feel and with the small blade gap, you get a mild yet somehow, still efficient shave. 1 pass or multiple passes doesn't matter you are rewarded with a smooth, comfortable shave.
I used to ise a soloedge nearly daily for my head shaves, now I use my Pages. Yes I have multiple. I bought both colors so I can mix amd match the parts. This is a worthy addition to any shave den and a greay recomendation to a new wet shaver for a smooth, easy forst razor.

Light, easy and pleasant razor

The Page is a very striaght forward DE razor. The Jet Black color is very elegant and easy to clean. Fit and Finish are excellent. A mild razor cuts clean and well as a quality DE should. It is comparitable with the Henson AL13 though a little more blade reveal. Nice control and the handle is an excellent length provideing good control.. I do have the Henson AL13, however, the Page is now my daily razor as the feel in my hand just better. The Rex Page is a great razor for beginners or more advanced shavers. This will be a pleasure to travel with in my kit. Hey Matt, Hint, Hint, A nice matching leather case.
