WOW this stuff smell amazing! It's kinda funny at work a lot of the older men and women ask me about the scent & when I tell them they agree it smells like the 80's....LOL

Rex 1988 splash

Love the product. smells great without being overpowering. more soothing to the skin then just alcohol based splashes. I am disappointed with the label however. if any of the product plus water gets on, the ink rubs right off seems like they were printed on a home ink jet.

So I purchased a mystery package and received it today, I got a bottle that is purple but it said mystery scent, opened it to smell it and it hit me in the straight in the nose (in a good way) however the scent smelled more like the 1944 than the 1988. So now I’m a bit confused because I really liked it and I would love to order some more but unsure which splash to purchase. But love the smell, the feel the slickness of the splash. Hopefully someone can help me figure this Mystery. lol over all a great product and happy with it!

Received my order today, and was extremely excited about this aftershave, the scent, the color, and the fact I graduated in 1988 and love everything about the 80s. When I opened the box, the color of the aftershave was blue, like ocean blue……DISAPPOINTING!

great aftershave formula

same great formula as the other rex supply aftershaves that makes your face feel pleasant after a close shave. the scent doesn't linger very long unfortunately, but it's still really nice stuff. my favorite from this series is probably 1977 because of how strong and unique it is, but 1988 is very subtle, which might float your boat. I'm satisfied with the quality, I just wish it had a little more oomph and staying power

The scent is decent, unfortunately it leaked all over the box in shipping, so I lost some of it, and the soap I bought with it has its label all gooey and messed up :( Please make the seals on the bottles better. This happened with 1977 too :(

Amazing scent. Subtle and soothing.

Subtle and soothing scent. Definitely carries Ralph Lauren vibes. It is very subtle, but pleasing. There is no bite once you apply it, just a soothing feeling of warms. I would give it a 5 star, but the bite is not there as in a clubhouse or snake bite from fine accoutrements. My wife, however, would give it a 5 star and said that's best aftershave I have and I have many. So, there is your perspective.
