Revamp Service | Rockwell 6S Double Edge Safety Razor

The Rockwell 6S with the plain stainless finish works well, but the Rhodium finish provides a smoother shave. Also, the finish is fantastic. Another great revamp from Razor Emporium.

This razor is absolutely stunning. The pinkish shining is perfect. Whereas other razors with a chrome finish have a blueish shining, this precious metal has a glance of its own. You only can love it. All plating and polishing service is excellent. A great job done by Matt and it's RAZOR-Emporium team. Also the razor is heavy. I think this is the razor for beginners.

Received 6s rodium, the finishing is better than I thought. The color is not white silver, it's pink ish silver which I love. Make this 6S really stand out when I compare side by side with 6C. The only complaint I have is the rodium coating is not 100% covering the handle. Missed 2 dots, but they are very tiny dots. You won't notice them until you look very closely. Other than that I love this rodium coating, it gives me a very smooth shave. I borrowed my friends matt finished 6S and the shave experience can't match rodium. It even smoother than my 6C chrome. Very happy with this investment.

I want to thank you for polishing up the brand new Rockwell 6s you sold me. It's probably the way the manufacturer should of finished the razor in the first place. In every review, YouTubers complained that the bead-blasted finish dragged on their faces compared to the Chinese-made 6c. I wanted the USA-made stainless steel product, but with a nicer finish. Your polishing of the unit did just what I hoped for. I saved money by re-plating it too. Your team did a wonderful job. Thank you.

Ever feel like, “Gosh, my Rockwell 6s is such an amazing razor, could it get much better?” Matt Pisarcik has the answer and the answer is “Hell yes!” Rhodium plating makes even smoother. I love my Rockwell razors, but they are not necessarily the prettiest razors on the market. The rhodium revamp turns it into a stunner. So glad I got this, Thanks to Matt and the Team!!!

Beautifully done, not a blemish or inconsistency in the gleaming finish. And the razor is much better. Glides across the face infinitely better than the stock finish.

This is my first DE safety razor and wow am I impressed! Well crafted, very sturdy, and plenty of weight. At first I felt the switching of plates during the shave was an inconvenience, but it has become as easy as 1-2-3. Love this razor and highly recommend.

The Rockwell 6s has become my daily shave driver, but I was looking for something with a little different finish than the flat stainless steel. Razor emporium plated all of the pieces in Nickel and I could not be more thrilled. Same daily shave with a nice finish that looks and shaves great. Very happy with the service.

My Rockwell 6s has long been a favorite razor of mine. It is made of stainless steel which means it will last a long time, but unfortunately Rockwell puts just a flat finish on the razor. Since I love the razor and have it as a centerpiece of my collection, I decided to go with the Rhodium Revamp service so I could have a great, durable razor with a fantastic finish that I could be proud of for years to come. That’s what I got! Razor emporium plated the handle, top cap, and all three baseplates for me and I could not be happier with the quality of work or the bright, shiny finish. I strongly recommend this service if you have a favorite razor that you want the best for!

The Rockwell is said to be a good razor - as I did not buy a normal Rockwell, I cannot comment.
This revamp is beautiful well balanced, and smooth to use.
I bought the ambassador, which is very well made, but is a little sticky (does not glide). This razor glides.

New to wet shaving but this was the perfect choice for a novice - you will build confidence fast with this razor! Love the Rhodium finish simply gorgeous!

I’ve been using this razor for a week and a half or so now and I’m super pleased. I’ve tried every plate but R6 so far and even at R5 it is super comfortable and I can barely feel the blade but still get a very close shave. This razor has a nice heft to it compared to my 34C and I think that contributes to the efficiency of this razor. It is the most comfortable razor I’ve used. The rhodium finish is beautiful and very eye catching.

I am an OTR truck driver and often have to sacrafice aesthetics for durability. So some months ago I purchased a Rockwell 6S. I did not realize this selection came with additional drag. I watched Matt's video on the Rhodium plaited 6S he offers and had to get one. It arrived 14 days before their expected ship date! When I opened the car all I could think of was brilliance, the word used to describe reflective light from a diamond! Now I have shaved with my new Rockwell 6SRHI. The glide is amazing compared to the 6S. I highly recommend the purchase for anyone with a 6S. And anyone considering a 6S as well. To Matt and his team I applaud you! This was a genius idea. Now I have durability and aesthetics. Thank you so much!

Although I have Rockwell 6S Double Edge Safety Razor - Rhodium Revamped for not so long I cannot stop myself from giving this review. First to say that I compare it with very competitive razors - Ti Razorock, Plisson Palladium and Mercure 42C. Rhodium Rockwell is second to none of those in appearance and performance. The multiple options with different levels of aggressiveness gives additional advantage - it is suitable for any type of skin and beard. And very important - the razor may be excellent by itself but the revamp work in Rhodium makes it perfect. big congrats to Razor Emporium guys! On the prize - fully covers the value!

Razor is great but the Rhodium plating is absolutely beautiful and makes this an awesome razor! The pictures on the Razor Emporium website don’t do it justice.

I have been shaving with this Rockwell with Rhodium plating for the past two weeks and love it!!

Like the previous review I agree it is more of a matte finish as compared to the shiny Rhodium plating I have from Matt on my Red Tip, Fat Boy, etc.

However, I really like it and it smooths out the handle nicely so it's not so rough like the original finish but still has excellent grip.

I find plates 3-5 the most functional.

The razor is a heavy well made piece of equipment. The finish wasn't what I was expecting, but it was still very nice. I thought with the rhodium plating it would be very shiny, but it was a little closer to matte, still beautiful.

I've found the R1 plate to be useless for me. Almost no blade gap. All the other plates progress from gentle to slightly aggressive. I've used Treet and Feather blades and they both produce good results with plates 2-6.
