Razor Revamp Service

I sent in a fat boy and a 3 piece razor , both were older and in need of a little tlc. They were returned like new in perfect working order, and the finish is remarkable, I'm a customer for life...Couldn't be happier...

Wasn't in bad mechanical condition but the plating had noticeably worn so I pulled the trigger for this special razor. I was sent updates at every stage and it finally arrived back to me in the UK after a month. The results are first class and probably better than in 1934. It's not exactly cheap but worth it for this very special razor.

I sent in a G2 Fatboy roughly a month ago and it was in pretty rough shape. The team at Razor Emporium adjusted everything - and I believe made this Fatboy better than factory new! Shave setting 4 with an astra superior blade has been my favorite shave in almost 10 years of shaving!

Sent in a 1959 Fat Boy in for a revamp in nickel. Really couldn't be happier with the result. It looked and worked like new. Well done!

My brass Proof Reserve razor came back looking so good I thought there somehow was a mistake in my order and the rhodium finish got applied instead of the nickel finish that I ordered. My razor came with such a flawless mirror polish finish that I just did not believe that it was nickel, but it is and wow does it look good. I also would like to mention that my razor had a small ding on the heal of the handle, not a big ding maybe 2mm long and about 1mm deep, I never anywhere on my order mentioned the ding and when I received my razor back that ding is gone. I wish I had taken a picture of it before I sent my razor in but alas I did not so I can only give my word about how amazing the work is. Worth every single penny!!!

This was a pretty sad sad looking Gillette Toggle Razor. I had bought it with some other products. So, it was an extra. Quite honestly, I had little hope that it could be restored, but decided to try. Everything was frozen solid. But, today it looks like it just came out of the display case. I am pleased to add it to my shave den.

Got my 2nd Fatboy Revamp back. E4 1959 Fatboy. Factory Nickel. Looks and operates like it came right from the factory. Absolutely beautiful and shaves like a dream. I had 3+ weeks beard growth so I could see just how well it would do and was not disappointed. Super smooth perfect shave. Razor Emporium Revamps are Incredible!

I picked up an old Gillette Milord on eBay. It was a throw in on a purchase of a Fatboy. The mechanical condition was very good amd had the original case, but the plating was in terrible shape. The folks at Razor Emporium restored the razor to better than brand new. This was my 4th revamp purchase from them and I cannot sing their praises highly enough. They kept me apprised of the process every step of the way and restored the finish to a beautiful shiny gold! Thanks again to Matt and his team at Razor Emporium. Sent in my Fatboy for a prospector revamp. Returned to me with a beautiful finish and functioned as a new razor. I am completely satisfied with the revamp. I highly recommend Razor Emporium services.

I recently lost my father. His safety razor was a huge part of my childhood and when he passed I inherited it. Unfortunately, it was in a very sad state. After hearing about the refurbishment services at Razor Emporium from a friend, I decided to send it in to have it brought back to life. The work is incredible. It was taken apart, clean, stripped, and replated in rhodium. I did opt to have the guard replaced but after hearing that the razor was an heirloom, the fellow that I was speaking with offered to replate the original guard as well so if I ever wanted it to have it put back to original, I could simply send it back in and they could do the work for me. The razor is simply a work of art. If you have an old razor that needs a little love or an heirloom that deserves a second chance, do not hesitate to have Razor Emporium do the work. You’ll be glad you did.

This revamp was so clean that it prompted me to send in other razors! Excellent work.

This is the third revamp Matt and the team have done on one of my vintage Gillettes, and as ever they’ve worked wonders. My battered Toggle with a stuck adjustment dial is now resplendent in factory finish nickel and works like new. I’ve used the razor several times since it came back and enjoyed ever shave. Great work, great service, and great communication.

I have an extensive collection of Vintage Gillette adjustable razors, most are in excellent original condition. Several I have sent out to another company for re-plating and tune ups. I decided to send this Fatboy to RE for the standard nickel.
The razor came back and it is honesty better than new! The finish is perfect, I really like the particle coat paint stripe and numbers are flawless. The TTO mechanism and 1/4 turn lock up are smooth as glass. This is my “new” everyday go to razor. Thank you Matt and Company for the outstanding craftsmanship

The razor was in really bad shape, busted handle included. RE fixed everything and coms were great. My 1988 razor will now live longer than I will.

When I sent the razor in for restoration, it was in dreadful shape. This cherished heirloom belonged to my wife's great-grandfather, and I initially doubted whether it was worth the effort to restore. However, now that I have received the beautifully revamped 1941 Gillette Ranger Tech razor, I feel an immense sense of pride. This exquisite piece is not just a tool; it’s a legacy that I will proudly pass on to future generations.

Back in the 50’s, my Dad shaved with a gold plated Gillette Aristocrat razor. When I began collecting vintage razors, getting a gold plated Aristocrat was high on my list. I found one, and although it shaved well, the aesthetics weren’t there….so I sent it to Razor Emporium to be revamped. It came back perfect. It now has a place of honor in my collection, and is in my regular shaving rotation, I just wish my Dad could see me using it.

I had an old razor that I unfortunately ruined when I left it in some cleaning solution too long. I sent it in to razor emporium who sent regular emails letting me know where my razor was throughout the entire process. It returned today and wow! It looks better than new! I was so happy to get it back in pristine condition after I had previously ruined the finish on it. I highly recommend the revamp service.

I was impress that I sent a vintage Gillette three piece razor what was in gold it was all scratched up, had a make of f on it that was marked by a knife which I did not like but was happy with the razor but the color was fading and turning green blue rust like color that made it look ugly and nervous to shave it and it is my favorite vintage razor so I heard that razor emporium does razor services from tune ups and revamp razors so I did the revamp service for my razor and during the process they have sent me notices of the work that the razor needs and keep me updated of the process and it’s suppose to take 6 weeks and got it a week early and it came out incredible and was impress of how it came out I would recommend there razor service for revamp razor just save your money on before and after pictures I paid extra for that and never got it because I was nervous if I will get my razor again but glad how it came out it will cost over hundred dollars so prepare if you want to restore your razor to it’s former glory it is worth it.

Looks great ! Way better than it was before !

RE revamped my 1904 Gillette Old Style Razor, box and blade holder. the new factory finish looks fantastic. The staff kept me informed of the progress all along they way. They even found some purple fabric for the inside. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Its almost too pretty to shave with...but I will.

I say pleasantly surprised not because i didn't think that they would do a good job. Because I had faith that they would do their best.Razor emporium so awesome, they have great people working there &it's really one of my favorite stores hands down. I was surprised about how great my razor ended up though because it is 80+ years old. and pretty beat up but they did a phenomenal job on it. and it came back looking almost brand new and another thing I went with the nickel option which i'm glad about. because it looks amazing I mean if their nickel looks this good I can only imagine how good their rhodium looks. But yeah i'm super stoked and happy with the work they did and I will tell anyone if they want to get a safety razor,Straight razor or shaving brush revamped definitely do business with razor emporium. You wont regret it I know don't.

Could not be happier with this service. Razor looks and performs like it did new out of the box back in 1971. The re plating job was top notch.

I have had a handful of vintage razors (DE & SE) revamped at Razor Emporium. In each case, the revamped razor looked incredible. In addition, they repaired any issues the razor might have been broken/not working correctly. They honestly do a wonderful job.

Both the toggle and the red tip custom came back to me in outstanding condition. I could not be happier. They repaired the toggle during tune up and revamped. The red tip was custom ordered. The turnaround time was much faster than expected. I was informed before and after each stage during the process. Thanks again for a job well done.

I sent in one of my Gillette Double Ring Razors for Revamp Service to be refinished Rhodium.
The process was simple but I still managed to make a mistake on my end. One phone call and the one and only Matt Pisarcik himself answered and fixed the issue *(my mistake) in a couple seconds, on Black Friday a very busy day.
I received regular updates for each step of the process throughout, and am very happy with how it turned out. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely use Razor Emporium for future Revamp Services.
