Razor Emporium | Sample Soap Set

First off the soaps are great but the customer service is even better. They accidentally forgot to include one of the samples in my shipment. After I told them they sent me the one I was missing AND 6 others to try from their 19xx series, plus a sticker. I love to support businesses who care about their customers. I will be buying from here again!

Never used shaving soap samples before. Was able to figure out how to put it in my shaving bowl. My shaving brush and bowl was able to lather up enough for a shave. Was pleasantly surprised how well the soap performed protecting my skin. Smells great and will definitely get the regular size.

I wish more companies would provide samples. It’s great to be able to try out the soap and the fragrance before committing to a whole 4oz container.

I recently purchased these soaps and it’s a great product, I like that I can sample all there soaps and from there be able to pick my favorites. I picked out the ones I really liked and made some purchases. There all great soaps and smell great and for being so small they last a very long time. Worth the purchase. For my money Barbershop, Fireside, Nordic, old school and American amber are worth it but there all great so what ever you pick you can’t go wrong. Hope this is helpful to everyone.

So I ordered trials of Nordic, element 47, and fireside. They are all great smelling, just a tad too sweet. I’m looking to try old school and barber shop next. My only grievance is the size of the samples. It’s not the volume, but the packaging. This was my first time using croap (Matt’s term), so trying to lather it in the small container proved challenging. I’m sure half the cost to RE is the packaging, so I get it. Just made it hard to decide whether to live on it or not.

Really nice product. Expect to get at least 3-4 shaves per sample if you are like me. If you use a ton of lather, then less.

Got the full set and all of them smell great and work fantastic! Nordic, fireside and element 47 are probably my favorites but I am happy with any of them

I liked all of the sample shaving soaps that I ordered. The small jars provide enough product for at least five shaves each, which I greatly appreciate. All of the soaps produced a rich, creamy lather and I especially enjoyed the fragrances of Old School, Heritage, Sandalwood, Barbershop and Nordic.

Recommended .... always nice to know what you're buying. Good soap like this is not cheap so I like it to pass the sniff test before buying a tub of it.

I can’t think of a better way to review different shaving soaps than this. Allows for multiple shaves to with each sample.

Good size samples that I am happy to say will last quite a few shaves. Great way to narrow down preferences whiles also saving a good amount of money.

4 stars because I would only buy full tubs of 4 out of the 8. Which is Nordic old school fireside and barbershop. Amazing soaps with just 4 ingredients. Leathers up super quick and very creamy. Barbershop has the most lather for some reason when ingredients are the same. Those four scents are my favorite and worth buying that's my experience. Citrus would of been nice if it wasn't so mild and very fsint. Sandwood is nice but needs another scent to mix w it. Element 47 was the scent I liked the least besides cituus. Rest the frangence I could barely smell

These are good size samples and a great option before you commit to a full size. All great scents!

They're small jars so you'll need to put some in a bowl to lather, but they have been great to get an idea of what scents I like. Well worth it to be able to see the scents I prefer.

To small of a sample, I did get to try them and the smell I do know what I like and don’t.

A very nice way to sample these shave soap scents. They are not super complex scents like many Ariana and Evans but still smell good. I like the Heritage and will probably get the Fireside and maybe Nordic for myself in the future.

I ordered the sample package as a way to have some travel soap. Unfortunately the container is too small to get my brush to make any lather. The only real use is to see if you like the smell. I would prefer they package the samples in some other container. If you have a scuttle you can put the sample soap in the scuttle, otherwise not easy to use.

The samples are more than enough to get familiar with and make up your mind as to which one will be your favorite. Fair warning, you'll probably be conflicted with having more than 1 a your favorite!!! Razor Emporiumis a must stop for anyone that enjoys shaving more than the average man! All the soaps performed great. My favorite was sandalwood and old school. Citrus I wish was a bit stronger. Great to purchase this before buying the bigger containers to see which one you would like. That's the draw back of not having a brick and mortar store where I live and can only shop online. Thankful that you offer samples to try to see which ones I will order.

A good collection of all of their (current) offerings of soap. All samples appeared to be fresh, with good scent strength. Each container appears to have enough for 4+ shaves. It's a nice offering to know what scents you might like to have, without the trial and error (and high cost!). Thanks.

I haven’t had a chance to try these yet but they look quality and come in a great package.

I've tried 3 of these so far with only 1 I didn't care for (not slick enough). I'm still going through them, though. I expect good things. The ones I like I will take on my travels.

Great idea for a sample pack. Why buy a full puck and then not like the sent, or the way it lathers. So that is the plus.
The Negative
The containers are so small, you cannot get a later going from the sample size. You will need to spoon it out. Then work it into a shaving bowl. Given the amount in each container, i would say you could get 2 shaves, maybe 3 out of each.
With my first shave, I tried just using about a 3rd of the container, and I could not get a decent later on my brush.
The reason for 4 stars, the sents are very nice, and the soap are made with high quality elements.

Bought the samples cause I really wanted to try the citrus. I found the barbershop and element47 to be much better smelling soaps! The citrus leaves you smelling like dish soap. Would still recommend the samples as the soaps are very nice and slick.
