Proraso Shaving Cream | Red Nourish Sandalwood & Shea Butter in Tube

I first heard of Proraso from Matt's Youtube videos.

When I began DE shaving my first shaving cream was the Proraso White for sensitive skin. I really liked how it lathered so easily and got that "cool whip" effect. I liked it so much, I "jumped in the deep end" and bought the Proraso Green and the Proraso Red and I alternate between the three. I would recommend any of them, but my favorite is the Proraso Red. The sandalwood scent is incredible! I have received numerous compliments on the scent.

I've been using this product for at least 5 years. This product has always given me a comfortable shave. I've never had any "skin burns" or had irritated skin after shaving while using Proraso Red. I highly recommend this product.

I have tried all four formulas of the Proraso shaving cream and like them all. Personally, I haven't noticed any major difference between the four formulas besides the scents.

I have noticed that the Proraso creams are pretty sensitive when it comes to how much water to use. There is a very narrow margin between the cream becoming too thin and runny, and being too dry and flakey. Once you find the sweet spot, it lathers up nice.

Did not receive this item. Instead I received the solid soap. No big deal. I really enjoy the smell, and lather.

First bought this on your suggestion in a Utube video. Excellent stuff - lathers well, treats my face well. Nice scent, not too strong.

Good quality stuff and I, and more importantly my wife, like the scent. Easily as good if not better than the sandalwood option I used to use from another place, lets say one that touts shaving as an art form... Easier to use with it being in the tube and less than half the price so it's a no brainer for me. Seems like it will last quite a while as an amount the size of a dime is more than enough for lathering up at least twice.

I use puck soap mainly but this Proraso red is the best smelling and performing shave cream I've used. The Proraso pre, cream and post shave combo is absolutely amazing. Thanks for turning me onto it Matt!

Great smelling soap with tons of slickness and lather! VERY easy to lather the brush. One of my favorite soaps.

I often take this one with me while traveling, as the tube is fairly easy to use. I like the Sandalwood scent and often use this with a brush, simply using my hand to massage a bit of the cream directly on my face and into the hairs of the beard. Given my coarse beard it really softens the hair (give it a minute or so using enough water) and it provides a great shaving experience. A classic to have around, I like it!
