I use it as a pre-shave. Works great! Easy on the skin and no scent. Great product!

I was using a pre-shave soap, but didn't really notice much of a difference in my shave quality. So on a whim, I tried this and it's great! It's super easy to apply (unlike the soap) and makes a huge difference to the quality of my shave. Buy some!

I’ve noticed a small difference. It works better after a wet face when it’s slick. If it’s dry, it’ll be dry. I’m still working on a balance but I’ll keep using it at the price.

I can't recommend this product more, along with it's shaving cream counterpart. My skin has never responded well to shaving, but I've had no issues over the past months once I started using this product.

Being Asian, I have a rather tough time shaving, as my ‘beard’ tends to be very tough and coarse. I never realized how much this ‘loosened up’ my beard until I went without it- never again! This is a wonderful product, particularly for those of us with sensitive skin. Highly recommended!

Just started using the Proraso Pre/Post Cream instead of a pre shave oil. I only use it as a pre shave and use the Proraso After Shave Balm. Both are great products and are reasonably priced.

Of no value to me either pre or post-shave. Really, it added nothing to my shave. Did not add slickness or protection, nor reduce irritation. And the scent is nothing to get excited about either. This goes into my box of stuff to PIF.

Amazing product. I have tried all the typical counter creams that promise a good clean no irritation shave and always walked away feeling like I ran 60 grit paper across my face. I used the preshave on a clean wet face followed by proraso sensitive shave cream. Just awesome smooth refreshing shave. I never looked forward to shaving till now

I was totally impressed. helped with a smooth comfortable shave. No after shave irritation. Kept a smooth finish after the shave and after rinsing. Now now preferred preshave.

I have used this product in the past and have not determined if it actually does anything. it does feel good on my face and it smells good as well. However, whether it softens the beard, I can't tell any difference by not using it.

I have tried a number of pre-shave products, including several that cost three times as much. Nothing has ever come close to the freedom from cuts and irritation provided by this Proraso product!
