I believe Matt calls this his "secret weapon." I could take it or leave it as a pre-shave. As a post-shave, I wouldn't use it as there are many fine post-shave lotions and creams available. I did notice, however, that this pre/post gave me a slicker shave, possibly reducing razor rash irritation. My face has been BBS after every shave with this product. I hate the feeling of oil on my face because I have always had oily skin. Additionally, my face has the unusual quality of "weeping" oil after every shave (I've been told this is a reaction to any damage a razor has done to my face). Thus my affinity for alcohol-based aftershave lotions. Using this pre/post cream, I noticed that my face felt less oily. The fragrance of this product is very nice, almost barbershop-like and is identical to the Proraso shave cream in a tube. I recommend the Proraso pre/post cream, it's a small but very pleasant little ritual I now use all the time. Another tool in the toolbox.

Improves shaving cream performance.

Unfortunately the Proraso sensitive skin shaving cream did very little to protect my face. Razor burn and nicks galore using Astra green blades. This pre-shave helped significantly.

Great Pre-Shave!

I have used Proraso pre-shave in the past, mostly the green, but the scent on this blue is so much more refined for me. I guess I'm leaning away from the menthol scent as I grow older, but the scent on this blue is just fantastic! All Proraso pre-shave creams work great for me, I cannot go wrong with a Proraso product.

I am 67 years old so I have been shaving a long time with Gillette DE razor. Never used a pre shave until today. This pre shave make all the difference in the world. It is GREAT.

Waited years for this

Blue Proraso has been my favorite ever since the shave cream came out years back! And had been waiting for a preshave eversince. It smells exactly like the shave cream and aftershave balm. Shipping was fast and easy as always. I have two go to preshaves and this is one of em, buy buy buy lol.
