Polsilver Super Iridium Double Edge (DE) Razor Blades

Very sharp, yet comfortable. These are my favorites for daily shaving.

Very smooth and sharp. No razor burn or nicks. These and Personna reds are my "go-to" blades. I always two pass and I'm getting four quality shaves from a blade.

I have fairly course whiskers but rather sensitive skin; during the week I'm a daily shaver, and usually skip it on weekends. I do two passes - the first with the grain, and the second against. I've used a number of other DE blades, including Gillette Silver Blue, Astra Superior Platinum, Personna Platinum (Red), and Kai.

For me, the Pol Silver Super Iridium give the best results. They have excellent glide, and the sharpness is an excellent match for my combination of whiskers and skin. It is very rare that I have any pull/tug, nicks, or irritation (generally when I inadvertently apply more pressure than just the weight of the razor itself - can't blame the blades for that).

I had a three day beard and though the blade removed it all, I was disappointed with how it cut. I had to do a second pass to remove everything while I've had other blades do it all at once.

Over the past year and a half since turning on to wet shaving, I've tried many, many blades. Feathers, Personna Blues, Reds, Labs, Astra, every Gillette known to man...and more. And for me Pol Silver really is the right mix of comfort and efficiency. As noted elsewhere, these blades are definitely sharp, but also very smooth at the same time. It really comes down to the individual though. I have a medium beard that's pretty tough, and my neck is super sensitive and very susceptible to razor burn and ingrown hairs. With the right shave soap and razor (for me, HTGAM's old formula Synergy soap paired with either a Weber or ATT Atlas R1), the Pol Silver's simply float over my face while my beard disappears. I use a 5 quadrant, 3 pass technique and the result is a BBS shave that can carry me through the evening without a touch-up.

While these are my go-to blades, my back-up 's are Gillette Silver Blues and Astra.

These are my go to for my shaves right now. Matt recommended these to me. They are def sharp! Lol if I don't pick them up on the sides any pressure will leave a little slice indent in my fingers. Even though they are sharp, they also are very smooth. No nicks, zero razor burn, smooth, clean, super close shave and if I'm in a hurry I can speed shave zero issues. For how sharp they are I'm impressed with how easy and smooth they are to use. Plus they last a LONG time. I've had them in for a about 5 shaves and no need to change them. I have coarse hair. These babies give me a 2 pass DFS.

These blades are great. So sharp, but so smooth, they make the shave effortless.
