Permasharp Double Edge DE Razor Blades

Good 1st and 2nd pass, against... I did not like it very much, mild irritation and some microcuts

I really wanted to like this blade, but it left my face feeling sunburned. I’m a new to shaving with a safety razor, so it could be bad technique on my part. This is a highly rated de blade that just didn’t work for my face.

One of the best and smoothest blades I have used. Definitely a must try.

About me: sensitive skin, coarse beard.

Below average blade. Lasted me barely 2/3 of the shave, catchy on hair and whiskers, irritation afterwards...won't ever used it on my face again, will save it for head shaving, nothing else... They are definitely not sharper than feather, very mild compared feather blades.

Bought these with a Merkur 37C razor. The Merkur blade was terrible but these produced a smooth shave. They were recommended in one of the Razor Emporium videos.

Provides a close, comfortable shave with no tugging or irritation. Pairs perfectly with my 1957 vintage Gillette Red Tip razor.

I see why everyone loves this blade it's super sharp but very aggressive blade that make a razor super efficient. But isn't a smooth shaving experience even in a mild razor like the Henson vs a Parker semi slant. Alot better then other blades I have but a treet dura sharp is smoother and sharper then this blade so I have no reason to buy a Permasharp ever again since I have and know for a blade that I like better for my face and skin. I didn't care for it. Caused to much razor burn and skin irratition while using barely any pressure.

I thought I was a staunch Feather man, then I tried Perma Sharps. These blades are just as thorough on the first pass as the Feather, but gentler. I truly feel honoured to shave with such a blade as this. So well crafted.

Very sharp razor in a Rex Konsul but not as smooth as a Wilkinson Sword. I've discovered that a good blade in one razor can be very different in another razor because of the design differences. This is one that should be considered for a good sharp shave with a small gap.

My favorite two blades are the Perma-Sharp Super and the Pol Silver Super Iridium. The Perma is as sharp as a feather but much smoother in my opinion. I purchased 100 blades before they will no longer be available.

These are my 'go to' blades. The perfect combination of sharpness and smoothness. I picked up a 100 pack in case Gillette pulls them out of Russia.

Great Blades, a smooth shave , no irritation

I have a light to medium beard and the Perma-Sharp supper knocked it out of the park for me one pass, and I was smoother than I’ve ever been.

Very nice blade. Right up there in sharpness and smoothness balance of the Astra Green and Blue, and seem to be on a par with the Gillette Silver Blue for sharpness. the GSB's are still my go to blade, but this one has forced its way into my rotation as there is very little difference between this and the GSBs. Definitely worth a try to see it it is your go to blade you've been looking for or a least a rotation worthy one for you.

Any played Gillette puts its own name on is a good blade. I find this to be the sharpest of any of the Gillette blades I've tried. You have to be extremely focused, extremely diligent, and extremely careful while using it. One slip of the concentration and you're cut.

My daily setup is a Rockwell 6S, #6 baseplate, and Feather blades. I dropped the Permasharp blade in on Monday, with about three days growth. Extremely smooth and comfortable; possibly better than my Feathers. The four following shaves (Tuesday-Friday) were also very good. Saturday (sixth shave) was dramatically worse: it was like shaving with a paint scraper. As long as I don't try to keep it in the razor too long, the Permasharp may be my new favorite blade.

The Perma-sharp blades On my skin cut my beard or wiskers the best. I know there are sharper ones on the market, but on my face these blades cut, and leave my skin smooth.

I have been trying many different razor blades to find the right one for my sensitive skin with having coarse hair. Perma-Sharp blades have been the most effective for me to this date with very minimal irritation compared to others that I have used. I typically get three shaves out of the blade.

The blades are extremely sharp, if you're new to shaving be wary of accidental nicks. That being said they cut quickly and easily, and certainly last. They cost a bit more but seem to last longer

I've tried about 3 or 4 of the other popular DE blades and these have performed the best. Highly recommend them!

Yes, these are smooth and sharp. These are Russian razor blades, and these are great, but just too sharp for a new wet shaver like me.

I started off using feather blades but found them to harsh for my skin. Enter the perma-sharp blades this is the best razor-blade I shaved with period. I have sensitive skin with coarse hair. This blade is so smooth to shave with I can easily do multiply passes and achieve a close shave. I could not do this on the feather blades.

Saw this community buying up scores of 100 ct so it was worth checking out. Used my first shave in a 66 super speed. Very smooth without a bite. Tried it a second time in a super adjustable cranked up to seven. Equally comfortable. Time will tell how many shaves I will get from each scraper, but I would put it in the top tier for sharpness & zero irritation. Reminds me of a 7 o’clock Black. Razor emporium is a fantastic outlet to keep us well-equipped. Buy with confidence, gentlemen.

I’ve only used this blade 3 times but I like it a lot. Paired with a medium aggressive razor I get a great shave with 2 passes. This helps me not get razor burn.
