Phoenix Shaving | Scentless Cube 2.0 Preshave Soap

This preshave block soap works very well. I get some of the worst nicks..cuts..razor burn and redness. Therefore a really good preshave product is important to me. I like that you wash your face then reapply a layer and leave it on and apply your shave soap and shave. It makes a big difference

I have very tough beard, so a preshave is necessary for me. For years I used Proraso green. However, this is now my new daily driver. I use the mentholated which can take some getting used to, but it is worth a try.

I was trying to use this for a lubricant to make a smoother shave and i sensitive skin. Just use the regular soap.

Hate this phrase but the cube 2.0 is a GAME CHANGER!!!! This stuff works and can't beat the price. Gentlemen don't hesitate and just purchase one you will not be disappointed....

Great pre-shave soap and easy to grip during application. I have read some reviews stating that the shape is inconvenient, but I much prefer to RE’s pre-shave soap.

This is my first preshave product but I am very satisfied. This product really feels like its working.

Great for facial cleaning, moisturizing, and creating a smooth gliding shave without nicks/cuts. Highly recommended.

Definitely has no odor. Works very well with razer emp. Old school soap. Lathers slicker than snot. Couldn't give it a 5 star that goes to their prickly pear soap. Which I don't think they carry anymore. Or I would've got that. I still recommend the cube. Don't think you can go wrong using it. Cool looking as well. Cheers

PAA’s “The Original Cube 2.0” performs as advertised, producing very slick pre-shave lather. However, since I always wash my face with a Dove or similar soap bar immediately before shaving, I do not wash my face with the cube for degreasing, I only apply the soap before lathering my face with shaving soap or cream. That decision doubles the life of the cube. I am not giving up my Proraso Red, White, and Blue pre-shaves, because I like them so much, so I’m including The Cube as my fourth pre-shave in rotation (i.e,, every fourth day). The Cube should last a very long time.

The pre-shave soap is great. However, I found that I don't enjoy the cube shape as much as I thought I would. I will look for this same product in a tube.

I feel like I’m still new to the art of traditional shaving and still learning. I’m still figuring out which razors I like and which shaving cream I like best. But this is definitely going to be the pre-shave I use forever. It’s easy to use, it’s clean, it doesn’t clog or anything like that. I love it

Life changing stuff! Super slick and helps even hard puck soaps lather faster and thicker. It drinks water like crazy, so I've been loading the brush lighter and hydrating more. I ended up buying the stick version for the travel bag as well

As a lather booster, the CUBE 2.0 really works! I've tested basic Ivory bath soap as a shave soap due to its slickness. But Ivory never lathered up dense enough. So I tested rubbing a layer of the CUBE underneath the Ivory and got a good lather. Wasn't as dense as a top quality shave soap, but water adjustments could bring the Ivory/CUBE combo closer. So if you have underperforming shave soaps that you're tempted to toss out, add the CUBE to your next order and keep those soaps in your lineup.

Very unique item that provides a nice slick surface. Cool packaging as well.
