NEW Sensitive Skin Safety Razor Wet Shave Kit

An amazing introduction into the world of wet shaving! Was hesitant on pulling the trigger for some time due to the nature of my sensitive skin. After watching a few of Matt's videos, I decided to jump right in with this kit! Holy sweet swirling pineapples am I glad that I did. The difference between cartridge/electric razors is night and day. A much closer, uniform shave and one that is infinitely more comfortable along the way. My skin has been thanking me as well! No more bumps, in-grown hair or having to redo an area 47.3 times to make sure its completely shaven like you get with cartridge razors.

1. Merkur Razor- Easy to use, highly adjustable which makes learning the process and what works for your face extremely easy. Nice aesthetic and very easy to clean.

2. Proraso Soap/Pre/Aftershave- Fantastic for mitigating nicks, burns and irritation in general. Nice mild scent and leaves the skin feeling great. Especially when you use the fabled cold rinse before applying balm! Seriously I can not express enough how much happier my skin has been over the past few months!

3. Razor sample pack: A great starting point of things to try. Good to be able to test the feel of several different blades and see what works best for my face. Was able to use ALL of the blades over the past few months and really helped deciding what will be best in the future! Essential to really dialing in the experience

4. Brush/Bowl- Looks nice and works well. The included alum stick does what one expects it to.

Pound for pound the best all-in-one kit entry for those with sensitive skin/beards. Have several friends of different races that I have recommended try these and have been met with a very similar experience. Moral of the story- Your skin and wallet will thank you in the long run and immediate future. Don't over-analyze and go for it. Welcome to a new age of skin care!

This product is good I did have to order the merckur progress long handle as I did not receive a mercur progress with the adjustable dial. Other than that all the products in the shipment was very nice and well executed

The equipment in the kit is solid & the Proraso products feel and smell nice and is capable of a comfortable shave. The catch is you have to figure out what works for you. I now find myself able to shave several times a week with very little irritation. A definitive improvement over my old Mach 3.

As a person who just got into wet shaving and with sensitive skin, I cannot recommend this wet shaving kit enough! The DE razor is high quality and is made in Germany. The pre-shave cream, shaving cream, and aftershave cream are from Italy (Big plus in my opinion). The astringent stick is from Spain and is useful for the nicks and happy little accidents. However, I wasn't able to obtain the shaving bowl since they were out of stock, but DJ was nice enough to offer me the Proraso shaving soap, which was also great so I won't really take a star down. The five brand samples of razors are also good for determining which blade works best for you. It would be nice if I had the shaving bowl, but I'm doing some more research for a great bowl in terms of heat retention and how quick in terms of lather. Overall, highly recommend!

I have tried every imaginable shaving system available to no avail. This sensitive skin shaving kit has produced the best results that I have ever achieved. I would highly recommend this kit and watch the YouTube video for sensitive skin.

First saw this kit on YouTube while trying to find a solution to constant razor burn I get on my neck. I am very happy to report that this is the solution. After s a little bit of user error resulting in a cut or a nick, I had the best shave of my life. As recommended I have tried each of the blades and found the one for me. Also, after experimenting with a few different pre shave routines, I am happy to report that the cold water works much better for my skin than the warm water. This is the routine for me. I will never be going back to regular razors.

Bottomline this kit is an excellent start for those who want to get into wetshaving and have problems with sensitive skin and ingrowns. I’ve always had the issue of ingrowns on my lower neck when I used to shave with disposable razors and basic shaving gel. The pre shave cream of this kit is excellent as well as the aftershave balm. Since the balm has no alcohol it’s very refreshing on my skin. The Merkur adjustable safety razor withbth right blade for you (Astra blades for me) makes the shave smooth and easy. For people like me having the ability to adjust the razor head for more sensitive areas is a huge plus. 10/0!!

After decades of using cartridge razors I finally had a chance to switch to DE razors. I had been reluctant to change because of my sensitive skin, but this kit has been perfect. I never expected such a great shave! The Merkur Progress is comfortable. The blade samples are helping me discern what I like in a blade. The Proraso products are spectacular - the pre-shave feels great, the tube of cream seems like it will last forever, and the post-shave balm is really soothing. The only itty-bitty disappointment was that I received a boar hair brush instead of the Razor Emporium badger brush (and I didn't realize it until a few shaves into using the brush). Overall, I'm very satisfied and grateful that this kit exists.

I wanted to ditch the disposable razors a spell ago. And occasionally I use my straight razor. I’ve been eyeing safety razors for a little while now and thought I’d take the plunge. I’m glad y’all have a kit for sensitive skin. I don’t have issues with burning or dried out skin after I shave anymore.
