Description

Meet our version of a classic safety razor—with a single-blade, fixed-head design. The Twig is specifically designed to be easy to use and gentle on your skin, and it delivers a smooth shave that’s better for the environment.

Unlike traditional double-edge safety razors, The Twig is tuned to be forgiving for a quicker, easier learning curve.

Designed with the smallest safety razor head available. This makes it the most agile and accessible shave, tight spots and crisp edges are a breeze.

Do you shave intimate areas, tight spots, or concave areas? Without a second live-edge hanging out the back (like a normal DE razor) The Twig is far safer and easier to use.

Open the blade holder by twisting the bottom of the handle clockwise. Load a single-edge blade into your Twig. Then, secure the blade by twisting the bottom of the handle counterclockwise until finger-tight.

With a safety razor's fixed-head, the user keeps a steady 30-degree angle between the blade and the skin. This allows the blade to engage your hair and shave it away.

A bit too Mild

The Twig is a nice SE razor, but I think I should have gotten a Thorn as I am typically a 2 pass shaver and this has taken a bit more work to get a similar shave to the Henson or Rockwell. I do like the balance and the fixed angle but its even a bit less aggressive than the Proof, which I find a bit mild as well. I'm waiting for some Feather blades and perhaps those will be a better fit, but the Personna Comfort Coats were, perhaps, not quite aggressive enough.

I would have given you five stars if it wasn't that I had to download an app for tracking my package and that when it arrived I had to pay an extra fee of 17 €, it's understandable considering that I live in Italy but there was no warning of this extra payment on the site. The product is exactly how it was supposed to be, good package and some nice freebies... I can't say that shipping was as good

This Twig razor gave me my best shave ever. I have tried several de razors, but this tops all of...

In my opinion, the Twig is the leader of the pack for the average shaver. The Leaf blades are also good. And, Razor Emporium gives great service.

Twig Razor Rose Gold

Perfect! My newest favorite razor. Perfect for my sensitive skin but I can't use it every day.

Leaf Twig

This is my first razor. I am very pleased with the shave quality. I went with the Twig because it uses DE blades with much more blade selection and not with the Supply Co single edge razor that uses injector blades.

Wow fantastic!

This is an excellent shaver! It’s allowing me to try so many new blades. Very gentle but efficiency is off the charts! A new favorite for sure!

Solid

I really enjoy this razor as I have fairly senistive skin and it will probably be the last one I buy. It provides a solid comfortable shave that I only sometimes get a weeper with and usually only when I use a feather blade. It is more aggressive than my Gillette heritage and less aggressive than my Merkur 34.

Love this razor!

The only reason this is a 4 and not a 5 is that it doesn’t close straight on its own. I have to help it… nudge the top just a little as it closes

Twig Razor

I said the stand is NOT rocket science , however , the Twig razor IS rocket science as it fills the job of wet shaving to perfection.

Leaf Twig Razor

I had one of the best shaves ever with this razor the angle of the blade with the handle makes so easy to shave it feels so safe like a cartridge razor but the results are simply amazing, I highly recommend it.

Requires Too Much Work

I have been a wet shaver for decades, most recently using either a Vikings Chieftain DE razor or a Panasonic electric wet/dry shaver – both of which provide exceptional closeness. I decided to try the Leaf single blade Twig based on the online demonstration. I have used it at least six times with both the furnished blades and halves of my own Sputnik brand blades. Regrettably, I cannot recommend it for the following reasons:

- Although the blade angle seems somewhat aggressive for me, the inverted weight distribution (weight in the handle) does not work. There is not enough weight in the head to flatten the very small ridges in the skin ahead of the blade, thus leading to nicks and cuts. It also forces the user to press down harder.

- The lack of knurling or grooves in the middle section of the handle causes it to become extremely slippery when wet and ultimately difficult to handle – my finger tips end up right under the head/blade.

- The handle is largely hollow to allow use of the stand, but when rinsed, the handle fills with water that pours everywhere when turned upright unless emptied before use.

- The opening mechanism is counter intuitive – instead of the standard “righty tighty, lefty loosy”, it is the opposite. Tightening causes the blade cover plate to torque in a clockwise direction exposing unequal amounts of blade. Also, the action of the opening/closing mechanism is very coarse and jumpy – certainly not as smooth as it should be.

I have tried to like the razor, but will likely end up sending it back.
