Description

The Aggressive is available only in Grey and is the Newest Version of the AL13.

The Henson AL13 Aggressive puts an end to shaving irritation and cuts, while also making your skin feel comfortable and smooth. They created this razor to give you a whole new shaving experience unlike any other. Your skin will feel amazing after using this razor.

The only difference between the Henson AL13 Aggressive and the Henson AL13 Medium is the blade gap and blade exposure. These measurements control the "aggressiveness" of the shave.

For finer hair and shaving areas other than the face, a milder razor is generally desired. Go for the AL13 Mild. For coarser hair, the aggression of the AL13 Medium razor may be more suitable. For even heavier beard growth go for the new Aggressive Version of this razor.

Great nimble razor

I recently bought a mild Henson AL13 and I enjoy it very much. I found it a bit too mild for an ultra close shave but really like how it feels and the ease of getting the correct angle. I decided to buy this +++ “aggressive” model. The difference in closeness of the shave was significant. In no way is this too aggressive of a razor and it handles so well.
For the money this is a great razor that is super comfortable and easy to shave with.

Surprised how pleasant

I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’ve heard it’s not aggressive enough, doesn’t give a good shave, it’s a mild beginner razor. I’ve also heard it’s the perfect razor, great for beginners, idiot proof. I’ve found for me most of those descriptions were wrong.
I do really like the razor. Out of the box I got a perfect shave using Perma Sharp blades. There is just something about aluminum razors I don’t enjoy. I think it’s the combination of weight, sound, and feel. No knocks for that, it just seems to be a preference. This is still one of my favorites and I will be looking to get it in stainless steel. It did take three passes and I couple of additional spots to go for a fourth but there was no agitation or aggravated skin. This is the first aluminum razors that I’ve used and my skin wasn’t inflamed. I’m a twice a day shaver when I don’t have a crazy beard and this razor gives a pleasant shave. This is definitely a keeper and in my weekly rotation. Its no Rockwell 6s but its nice in a different way.

Henson AL13 Aggressive

I've shaved 3 times now with my new Henson AL13 Aggressive shaver and I am extremely pleased with the product design, quality and functionality. I've had no nicks or cuts whatsoever, and the shave has been close, comfortable and smooth. This is my razor for the long term. Great product!

Excellent Quality

This razor combined with a Silver Blue or Permasharp blade is just incredible. The best razor I have ever used.

AL13 Aggressive

The perfect razor for me. Especially for those trouble spots where it’s prone to ingrowns.

It just works

I've been wet shaving for roughly 20 yrs. I've tried a handful of razors from mild to aggressive (Merkur Future). In a variety of materials: cast, stainless, brass, aluminum. For many of those years I always used a Gem single edge razor and Gem carbon blade - a great close shave no nicks ever! But single edge blades are no longer local to me and are harder to find. Now with Henson I get the same great shave but now can use cheaper double edge blades and still get a stiff blade due to the Henson design. Henson is the razor I recommend to my friends that want a reasonably close shave with one pass with no nicks. With a second pass and you get very close to a BSS with no irritation. I highly recommend the RK blades. Just give yourself a few weeks to master the razor. This angles of this razor is slightly different from other razors.

Impressive design

This system forces the razor into an arch. The whole thing feels like it's one solid piece.

Aggressive!

I use this razor every other day with Astra stainless blades and I couldn’t be happier. Obviously, using proper prep and technique will help you get a better shave. Quality feeling razor, light weight and an easily learned angle keeps my head nice and squeaky clean
Thank you Canada ?? for a beautiful addition to my collection

Henson Shaving AL13 - Aggressive

New to DE razor shaving and I've used this Henson razor for 2 weeks. Took me a few shaves to get used to the razor and I'm happy with it. Just purchased sample pack of other razor blades to try. In the meantime the RK blades from India customized for Henson work fine.

Excellent Shave

This is the third henson I have bought from Razor Emporium and I am not disappointed. I bought this to round out my henson set and to also just try the aggressive version and I will say it is just as good as the medium. Do not let the title aggressive scare you as I do believe the way they are made it is truly a safety razor.

AL13 Perfectly Midrange

As a relatively new DE shaver, I have amassed over 20 brands/models. From 1904 to 2022. Each with their own personality. After two weeks of ZERO cuts on average to coarse facial hair with a variety of razors, I can firmly attest the AL13 Aggressive has a scarier reputation than it delivers. Perfection minus a personal preference for a slightly heavier handle and one awful color choice. The RK blades supposedly designed for this model perform flawlessly. At $15 for 100 blades, that's a bargain using each blade 2x. One pass was quite enough for 90% of the face. Follow Matt's instructions and use cold water to rinse, Makes a huge difference.
