Gillette 7 O'clock Black Super Platinum Double Edge (DE) Razor Blades

My daily setup is a Rockwell 6S, #6 baseplate, and Feather blades. I dropped the 7 o'clock black blade in on Monday, with about three days growth. The blade felt sharp, but a little draggy; I got a close shave, but didn't enjoy it much. The four following shaves (Tuesday-Friday) were much smoother. They still weren't as nice as my Feather shaves, but were OK. I probably won't use these blades again.

These were not so smooth for me. I prefer the Gillette 7o'clock super stainless(green) and the sharp edge (yellow).

I paired this blade with my new Edwin Jagger 3one6 (great razor) and it was perfect! Sharp but yet so smooth. I have sensitive skin and it was the best shave I have personally have had in awhile. Thank you, Razor E for the prompt shipping!

Very, Very sharp- yet they are very, very smooth. A little redness happens, but soon disappears. These blades really cut my beard, but man, are they smooth.

For me, the best of the 7 o’clock series. Delivers a very comfortable scrape. I find the yellows almost chatter in my R41 and Super Speed. We are lucky to have an outlet like RE offering the blacks as I find them hard to find. I don’t do Amazon. Buy with confidence, constant shavers!

Such a great product. One of my favorite blades! I buy my blades from Razor Emporium because of the quick service, great communication, and fast delivery. The price is also comparable (If not better) than from other stores. Keep up the great work!

This is one of the very best shaving blades that I have personally tried it is very sharp yet smooth. I have a tough beard and sensitive skin. This blade left nearly no irritation and a very smooth close shave. The only downside to this blade is the price.

7 O’Clock Super Platinum blades are as supple and sharp as any I’ve used including the Feather. They were a joy to use especially after experimenting with various DE dispenser brands at retail over the past few years. No drag with these Gillettes! Blades are individually wrapped.

My favorite blades are: 1) Feather, 2) Voshkod, 3) all the rest. Well, this blade is probably now in the number 2 position. Seems very sharp with little drag. I will use, but not every day.

Gillette 7 O'clock blades are some of the best blades available. I've tried all variations of the 7O'clock blades and every one of them consistently gives me a smooth shave.

Different factors make up a great shave:

1. The thickness and coarseness of the beard
2. The pre-shave preparations
3. The sharpness and quality of the blade

When I use these blades I get three clean and comfortable shaves per blade including: a second pass against the grain to the throat. Others may be able to get more shaves per blade. I like these blades, and will buy more of them.
