Feather Hi-Stainless Double Edge (DE) Blades

One of my favorites. I can get up to 10 shaves on one blade. The last one is better than many other brands first shave

Feather blade in my '52 Gillette bakelite...a fantastic shave!

Feather are the only blades I buy, and have been for somewhere around 14 years. I'm not too proud to admit, there was a time of weakness early on. I failed to keep the faith with my stalwart DE blades, and I was stubbly, nicked, and disappointed for my sins. Fortunately Feather is kind and forgiving. Our time together has been smooth and uninterrupted since.

I'm not completely sure, but this sort of crap drains the troubled soul.

I've now had a chance to use a good number of these blades and have to say that coupled with a mild to medium razor like the Henson seems to be the magic combo for me. Usually getting four to five good shaves sometimes an extra because I accomplish in two passes what usually takes three with a lesser blade. I like these!

It appears that the very sharp feather coupled with the mild Henson is a match made in heaven! I was a bit leary of this blade after reading horror stories from some users, but my fears were unfounded by the very smooth feeling I got from that shave. Accomplished in two passes what I usually get in three and all can think is 30<% less action on the face gave almost zero irritation. It's gonna be my favorite blade I'd bet. Still have a Wilkinson sword classic to try out but its gonna have to be amazing to beat the feather

No wonder the Samurai only shaves using FEATHER blades!!!

When I got my first de razor, I thought I made a mistake, terrible shaves with every blade I tried, I was kinda scared of trying feathers at first but after 10 or so different blades and all of them sucked for my face. I decided to try feathers. I've tried a couple other blades since but feathers are my go to in any razor.

First look, these blades are a few thousands wider than my usual Wilkinson. More blade exposed, Horrors!! No worries, Best shave since leaving Straight Boker razor behind. My hands shake too much now days. Rockwell 6c on 2 and these blades. Got a winner.

Testing sample pack. Sensitive skin, heavy beard. Using Rockwell 6c setting 2. Compared to my standard Wilkinson-Chinese, Yes, a little sharper. No pull, Very BBS, and less irritation. A lot less. I really like the W.C. blades, but these are fantastic. Just might be my new favorite. Only time I have no irritation, some beard is left behind. The slight irritation from these could have been ignored, but I'm not cutting anybody slack in a review.

This brand is really good. I’ve heard it gives the best results. Although it was a tough spot shaving my chin with these not gonna lie. Other than that. They’re good. My fair opinion is that I’ll give it a 4/5

These aren great blades. With my Fatboy, I get as close a shave as with my straight razors.

Hella sharp and they shave real nice! Definitely my favorite blades so far.

These are super sharp! 5 blades and you can skin an entire body!

Feather is sharp, but I always found them a bit irritating and short-lived (three shaves max) when used in a variety of closed and open comb razors from Merkur and Muhle. (I ended up choosing Astra as the best all-rounder for cut, comfort, and durability). I was recently gifted a Rex Envoy, and I tried the Feather in it. Completely different experience! Such a smooth and comfortable shave! Can't speak to the durability yet, but after four shaves there's been no noticable difference.

The first shave is a bit aggressive, but the second through fifth shaves are perfect. I'm sure you could go past 6 shaves with these blades.

I have a medium thick whiskers and I get a close shave with my safety razor. Also, does great with my Shavette. I would recommend these blades, although everyone’s beard is different. Good luck and happy shaving.

I ordered these to give a little more aggressiveness to my Merkur 42C-1904 razor. I found them to be smooth and efficient without causing irritation. I will purchase again. These Blades are GREAT. They are so sharp which is great for me with a very coarse beard. I am choosing to switch out the blade every 5th Shave. Highly recommended.

Best blades to get the closest shave. They last very long too. Just as easy to use as other blades, no difference.

Nice and sharp for a clean shave. Haven't used a double edge for over 40 years and it is much less expensive than all the other cartridge blades.

I will try something else next time only got 2 shaves out of them

When paired with a slant razor, ( I’ve got a vintage pomco), bbs without irritation. Awesome!

Stay focused on the shave else you'll have wasted time getting the "gotchas' patched up. Only one that does not drag and cuts through the very first pass.

As stated these are very sharp. They cut well but also gave me a few knicks and cuts. Will keep it as a backup.

I have been using a van Der Hagen DE with VDH blades around a beard for the past few years. Recently I have become and enthusiast. I have now tried a few other blades. All the Hype on this blade is accurate. I am going to try a fresh feather in my shavette as soon as I get a little more proficient and it is as good on the shavette as the DE I will probably by a 100 pack and never look back. SUPERIOR quality.

Maybe next year I will put one in the REX supply razor.

Like butter. I have a sensitive face and I use the Rex Envoy and at first, yeh I thought I made a mistake cause like I said previously, I have a sensitive face. After some practice all I use is the feather now. It’s silky smooth when I really take my time. When I’m kinda in a hurry, I take a bit more time and it still works well. Don’t let the sharpness intimidate you. Work at the technique and the blade sharpness will fall into place.
