Dreadnought Avenger Brush is a product that will improve the quality of your shave by creating a really great lather and ensuring that each of your hairs are properly coated with Dreadnought Shaving Cream. This ensures that you enjoy a really close shave and helps avoid skin problems, ingrowing hairs and razor rash.

If you take care of your brush it will last you a lifetime and it really could not be any simpler. After using your Avenger (with Dreadnought Shaving Cream of course!) rinse the brush clean in warm water. Give it a little squeeze to get rid of as much water as possible, give it a good shake then the rest on its base so it can dry out.

Dreadnought uses totally recyclable packaging.

I didn't buy it here so not their fault but the knot came out of the second stroke

Dreadnought ‘Avenger’ Boar Shaving Brush

Great beginners brush. Not expensive, won’t break the bank, and will get the job done - but badger hair this is not. This brush does shed - both on your face/head and in the soap container (assuming you don’t build lather in a cup/bowl).

Does the job and looks nice

I may have been lucky with this one but it works like a charm. I use a scuttle when working up a lather so that probably also has a role to play in how well this thing works. Got it to stop shedding already but eventually moved on to a Silver-tip brush. I ended up giving this one to my younger brother as an intro brush to wet shaving and it has served him well so far.

Nice, but hairs come loose.

I bought one of these and from day one it left hairs on my face. I cannot rank it higher than two as a result. The wood and hairs are nice, but the hair won't stay put. Now I don't use it and may as well throw it away.
