1940s WWII NEW Gillette DE Ball End Safety Razor Travel "Khaki" Replica Set w/ Mirror

I ordered this kit a few months back. This is my very first vintage razor. I have been traditional shaving almost 3 years now and I was a little hesitant to use this little shaver because of some of the stories of have seen about how aggressive it is. To my surprise it was the smoothest shave out of my collection. This kit fits great in my shower bag and I love the fact that the mirror is metal. Since I drive a truck for a living. The mirror comes in handy for those times I shave outside of the truck. Over all it is a excellent kit. I am eyeing the WW kit as my next vintage razor. Great quality service from RE.

Just shaved with this razor. I was surprised by how smooth my shave was after 2 passes with a Kai blade. Could not even feel the blade on my face but was blown away by the smoothness of the shave. Ordering 2 more for my dad and brother.

The razor works great. Packs down very small. Takes virtually no room in your DOPP.

Very good travel set

Purchased this product primarily for travel and extended hiking trips in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest. Mirror is made out of metal and durable. Mind the sharp edges. Might file them down with a file before my next trip out. Razor is in beautiful condition and the case is well built. The whole kit is small and compact. Carried it on my last trip and hardly took any room in my backpack.

So glad to have one of these little saving kits , knowing it’s what The soldiers from world war 2 had been using . It gives fond memories of my uncle who served in the war and knowing that this is the exact same products he was issued by his Country to fight for us and our freedom .
