Wow these are nice, my new second favorite following the wizamet iridium blades! Sharp and they cut like a hot butter through a knife.

I’m using a Henson AL13 razor and have tried Gillette, RK, Astra and Feather blades. So far, the Voskhod has provided the smoothest and most comfortable shaves of the lot. I use Cremo Sensitive Skin shave cream - applied with a brush. I shave after showering and make sure to use a warm washcloth to soften by beard before shaving. I only regret that the blades are made in Putin’s evil empire so when this 5 is gone I’ll have to drop back to another brand.

When I say not mild, that doesn't mean you'll cut you're face up. This was the 3rd DE razor blade I've ever used and it beat the previous two by far (Astra Green and Derby Extra, not a fan cause they caused me irritation. I didn't get those two from here though). I had literally just 2 or 3 nicks on the first shave with the Voskhod, compared with at least 6+ for the other two. On the second shave with it I had even less nicks (maybe 1 but I think none) and virtually no irritation. Most likely will purchase again.

I have used many DE blades and none have been as smooth as the Voskhod for me. Very forgiving blade and absolutely no irritation for me. Using in my Parker Variant at the 2 setting and get a very close and smooth shave. For whatever reason I had low expectations for this blade and was blown away with how comfortable the shave was with it. Highly recommended and if you had a bad experience, give it another try.
