This cream has a strong but not overpowering scent. It lathers easily and quickly into a thick creamy consistency. Although not the slickest soap I've used, it does provide above average slickness and is more than sufficient for providing a smooth irritation free shave.

Great shaving cream, but the smell is overwhelming and tends to linger with you all day long. You will either love the smell or it will drive you to another product after a few uses.

This is the first real shaving cream I've used. I was using the canned shaving cream that I've used my whole life even with my DE safety razor. What a difference using a quality shaving cream and shaving brush makes! This shaving cream makes my razor glide across my face like a hot knife through butter. This is the first time I've ever been able to do multiple passes without irritation, and I give credit to using a quality shaving cream. My only complaint is that it turns out I don't like the way Sandalwood smells. I will give this 5 stars anyways because everything else is great, and smell is subjective. To me Sandalwood smells like something an old man would wear. If you have never smelled Sandalwood I would recommend trying to smell it before you buy this to see if you like it or not.
