Lavender & Geranium (St. James of London)

Lather: 9.75 Aroma: 7.0 Shave: A+ The cream is in a sturdy glass container, arriving in a smart box. The cream would be described as rich and luxurious in appearance, with a bit of a metallic sheen. The lather, well, wow! I suppose it could be improved if it whipped itself. The tiniest dab will suffice. Thick, foamy, and plentiful. I went door to door to see if any neighbors needed any. I could’ve shaved three people with it, I think. Great work SJL! The aroma was pleasant enough during the shave. Possibly just a personal taste issue, although I think my taste is good, but it didn’t resonate perfectly with my palate. Had a tinge of a medicinal quality, less floral. But still rather positive. That being said, if lavender is your thing, or geranium for that matter, my solid rating may rise yet. I have another lavender offering (TOBS) that should offer a quality comparison in the next week. Another plus is that the scent seems to last beyond just the shave. A strong shave cream. That is my verdict.
