I recently bought this and it provides a good lather and is a little easier to take care of than a natural hair brush as a beginner
Astounding feel on the face once I loaded up with Pinaud Shaving soap. In addition to the buttery soft feel, the bristles produced a most creamy and moist lather. It held enough lather to ensure a quality second pass. A wonderful addition to my shaving gear collection!
The soft bristles are perfect for accomplishing a lather on the face (which is how I do it). It is definitely on the smaller side though.
