This is a good stand, don't get me wrong. It works beautifully on the Rex razors. But I don't think it needed to be so heavy. And maybe that weight is why its so expensive? Because really if it was lighter, and cheaper, it would still be a super solid stand. We're shelling out a fair bit on the razors, the stand shouldn't be this expensive. Even if this is the cheaper edition!

This is an effective stand, that looks cool. It is too bad that Rex Supply has to perpetuate its top of the market pricing for a machined disc.
