Brush is beautiful and at first gave a super luxurious and functional experience. Brush started to fall apart (my face and shave bowl covered in bristles) after about 3 months of use with post use care as directed. For sure far from a “best in class” experience. Though the Rex line is beautiful (including this brush), Im assuming the goal is to match beauty with function. The razor hits the mark, this brush was a big disappointment.. I’ve ordered a replacement head with the hope Im not throwing good money after bad.

You really feel like a man with this brush, feels wonderful in the hand and not to heavy at all. A must for every wet shaver out there.

I bought the Silvertip Badger and was very impressed. The weight and feel off the brush is what makes it great. It feels like a real quality product that I can use for the next decade. I keep mine hanging upside down on a Parker Chrome S Razor Brush Stand. The Rex Ambassador Razor DOES NOT FIT IN that stand but the Rex brush does. It creates lather very well but then again I haven't tried a brush that doesn't work well yet. There was the typical smell from a badger hair brush but after washing it with shampoo and conditioner, the smell went away.
