Rex Supply 1966 shave bundle

Smooth, slick and easy to lather shaving soap . Balm is refreshing and not too sticky or greasy. The splash is wonderfulland nourishing (needs a good shake before use) . . All of these 1966 products have a fresh "citrus peel" scent, which makes me think of California orange groves in the 1960s.

1966 Bundle

Okay, but not great is my unfortunate assessment of this product. This is the first product I’ve gotten from Rex that didn’t blow me away. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but the Ambassador, the Konsul, and vintage Fatboy I received from Rex all knocked it out of the park. The 1966 doesn’t smell that great and the soap doesn’t lather especially well either. Sorry, I really wanted to love this product. It is still good………..just not great.
