1955:

1955, the first offering from Rex Supply co. is a subtle, confident scent. Inspired by the most popular colognes from the 1950’s, with floral notes of Hyacinth & Gardenia woodsy notes of Vetiver & Sandalwood. The complex 1955 aroma is unlike anything available today, nothing musky, no headache inducing smack, and nothing exotic about this classic American construction.

This Tallow Soap offers the most clean, comfortable, hydrating lather on the market today. Old World Tallow provides a rich cushion and leaves you lightly fragranced with the best post-shave feel you’ve ever experienced.

I'm already a fan of the REX Envoy safety razor. Decided to give the shave soap a try. Appreciate both scents being sent. Allows you to pick either/or. They are both amazing scents. I chose 1955. The lather was very good! Used my indestructible bowl, RE badger hair brush. And my Envoy. Amazing shave. Also shipped was an atomizer sample of the 1955 splash. Because of this , I purchased the 4oz soap, and splash. Amazing shave and the scent is top tier. Thanks RE!!

Excellent lather.

Both soaps lather extremely well. The 1955 is a little more floral/cleaner scented. Not bad just different. The 1966 is my favorite of the two. It’s a rich summer orange scent. Veryvery nice

I prefer the 1966 over the 1955 but both are good. Where the rubber meets the road is the lather and shave quality, which is outstanding.

1955 & 1966 sample

Both scents are fantastic. If I had to choose one I’d say I prefer 1955. Neither of the two are overpowering and feel great on the skin. The sample pack was perfect for me to get about 4 shaved with each. Enough time for me to pick my favorite, but regardless I’d be happy with either or. I’m looking forward to 1977. Keep um coming Rex.
