After receiving a sample from our RE, I ordered a full can. I was looking forward to this. I used it today and was only slightly disappointed. The scent, which I loved in the sample, is almost nonexistent. I find this true with most shaving soaps. Maybe my nose just isn’t that precise. My recommendation is don’t buy soaps for the scent. They are insignificant.. Use after-shaves and cologne. On the positive side, the lather is the best I have ever used. I rate this four out of five.

I absolutely adore this scent! The lather quality is excellent as is every offering from Razor Emporium. It’s super slick and hydrating and provides great cushion for any blade. This scent is has become my personal favorite in my collection.. lovely combination of sweet and smoky with a subtle touch of bourbon . 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I saw Matt making a great lather with this soap several times so eventually picked up a sample pack of Razor Emporium shave soaps. Really liked the Fireside scent so picked up the full size shave soap, after shave splash and after shave balm. Using all three products gives an incredible shave with super post shave feel. I’m very impressed with the shave soap and look forward to using it again.

Performance is on par with Cella as far as ease of lathering, cushion, slickness, and dissipation. The scent is like Pre de Provence No. 63 with a bit of musk. Tried the sample they sent and immediately placed an order. Good stuff
