Terrible artificial detergent scent, nothing near real orange of any kind

I really wanted to love this RE branded Citrus shaving soap but sadly I hated it. It smells like the orange pledge under my kitchen sink, it’s scent was so artificial and terrible that I couldn’t even shave with it. I’d rather spend $25 or double on a great smelling and natural scented citrus or orange family shave soap since all shave soaps will mostly last for such a long time. Sad to say this smells industrial and fake and that’s not what I want to smell.

    Citrus

Not bad. I am more a fan of the barber shop and Sandalwood. Still a good product.

    Razor Emporium Citrus Shaving Soap

This is a great soap. Easy to lather, nice scent, slick and cushioning. The price can't be beat for this quality!

    Terrific Soap

The tub the soap is in has a wide enough mouth so there's plenty of room to swirl your brush over the top of the soap. The soap loads onto the bristles easily. The soap will lather quite a bit as you load your brush. When you use a bowl to create your lather, you will be able to make a rich lather with little effort. The slickness is excellent. In fact I can go back over spots, which is something I can't do with other soaps (my skin dries extremely quickly). The lather provides a good cushion for even my more aggressive blades and razors. I love the scent. I don't have a good nose but it smells more towards limes and grapefruit than orange to me. The scent does not last long, but for me that's a good thing since a heavily scented soap will irritate my skin. I've used this soap for some time now and have had no issues with irritation. I will say it took me a few tries to get the lather right with this soap. The first try I had too much water in the brush and the second try I didn't load the brush long enough. Once I got the hang of it, I was very happy with the quality and the scent of this soap.
