    Great Blade - Very Impressed!

So to start out my current favorite blade has been the Gillette Plantinums, I believe made in Russia. I have always said if America makes just as good of a blade for a similar price I would switch. I have two of these blades now and I can honestly say I didn't expect much since it is not a platinum coated blade and I have found those are typically the best for my skin and give me the smoothest shave and just stainless blades have not. However these blades actually gave me a great shave and lasted 4 to 5 shaves easily. Now the one reason I took the star away is cost. If I purchase 120 AccuForge blades I am paying about $0.34 per blade. My Gillette Platinum blades are $0.24 per blade, so the AccuForge blades are about 30% more and I am just not sure I can justify the cost increase. I also wonder how a blade here is more expensive than a blade that has to be imported, maybe because they produce many more blades and economies of scale make it so much cheaper to produce. So to sum it up a really great blade, but relatively pricey.

    Accuforge Review

These are very good blades. They work great with my merica razor by Yates Precision. I get a very close bbs shave and had one of my best shaves with these blades highly recommend it. They’re very smooth blades and sometimes you don’t even feel if theirs a blade in the razor. They are great for beginners and veterans. I also have sensitive neck and have pretty corse hair. The blade last around 4-5 shaves for me and it has to be in a medium/mild Aggression safety razor more of the medium side. If not it doesn’t really work for me if the safety razor is too mild aggression.

    Accuforge Razor Blades

Now I can't compare these with the Personna Med Prep razors that Accuforge replaced because I never tried the "blue labels". What I can tell you is that Accuforge makes a quality razor blade that cuts smooth and can handle any shaving task. It is a quality blade that doesn't need a well known proven name to stand behind.
