    Accuforce Blades

I usually do not review items or read reviews as most are meaningless because they have one stars to five stars. I am 75 years old with tissue paper skin and barbed wire whiskers. One of my favorite blades was Gillette Super Stainless when it was made in Russia. I would only give it a 2 or 3 star rating now. I think because Matt is selling this in packages of 10 and not 250 it would be worth the small investment to try these blades. I have always like a very close shave so I use 6 gentle passes. Down, ear to nose, nose to ear, and neck to cheeks. For me the true value of the blade is from neck to cheeks not so much on the cheeks but the mustache and chin areas. I don't like any stubble left as for me every shave has a goal of BBS. For this blade I have been using a Henson +++ razor. I don't like to change razors with discovering a new blade. I heat my lather in its bowl with a Suxman coffee cup warmer and use Castle Forbes 1445 or a TOBS product such that the lather is nice the whole way through the shave for comparison. This blade easily ranks with two of my other "go to" blades--Bolzano & Timor. It seems not as sharp as a Feather but a bit smoother. I only use a blade twice using both sides. So again for what it is worth, I think the purchase of the 10 pack is worth the money. I might hope that Matt would offer the blades in a 25 pack as I have bought 100 packs before of blades and hate to get locked into one blade. Will I purchase more, probably at the 25 package. The shipping is almost more than the blades. Matt might offer free shipping on this product at 10 blades per order to market them. I think many might find these blades rate at 5 stars. So my 2¢

    Great Blade

First two shaves, each with 2-day growth, were very smooth and very close. (Using a Rex Envoy.) Hoping QC is more consistent than their predecessors. Love the minimalist packaging/branding.

I thought persona did an excellent job with the comfort coat blades. After purchasing these Accu Forge blades it’s on a whole Other level of sharpness. I rate it right up there with feather and Kai blades but these are smoother on my skin. A must have for a wet shaving enthusiast!
