This is a heavy razor that gives a smooth close shave. A real value at this price. I recommend this razor.

Aggressive Open Comb?

I will start with the fact I wasn't sure about the razor since it was an OC. However, I did my first shave and I will say that it isn't overly aggressive. I would rate it about a 6/10 on aggression at most. The shave was smooth and I barely noticed the blade. Though, I did use a Gilette 7'Oclock. Overall, I believe this is an amazing razor and can be for beginners or experienced alike.

Great razor

Wasn't too sure of the open comb, but Matt assured me it will shave fine. And it does. long handle, comfortable shave.

Great start razor, and maybe great permanent DE Safety razor

So far it's great. Easy to hold, and easy to get the angle right. Cleans easily, and replaces razors easily. No complaints!
