The case had a lot of stray threads, is difficult to close with a Gillette old type disassembled razor in it, with a pack of blades. And upon the first time closing and opening it the right hand snap broke. Looks like it was crimped improperly because it broke in two. I'm working on fixing it as it's a Christmas present.

Nicely made kit that comes fully “stashed” with all you’ll need on the go. (I’d say it’s about the size of an eyeglass case). And the Gillette mock ball-end type OC is a fine performer. I have seen some complaints that theirs will not snap completely. I would account for the durable canvas material this is constructed from just needing some flex memory in the beginning. I have an original WWI razor with the actual case that was issued. The case needed to be replaced so when I found this, I was excited. The case is made well Except for a couple of things: 1. It’s made too small. I had a Really Hard time fitting the handle, razor head and extra blades in the case and then trying to close was impossible. 2. The Snaps are too weak. After struggling to get the case closed the snaps just could not hold it shut due to the pressure of the material trying to keep it closed. If it was made a little bit larger and with better quality snaps this would deserve a “5 star” rating.

The khaki set case with mirror- I wanted something to be able tp protect a full size three piece razor when traveling but also have some built in functionality and this case is it! Fits old style ball end razor handles great- including gillette ball end techs and most made in england techs. It would not fit my canadian fat handle tech military set handle though so make sure of your handle size. The mirror works great and fits nicely. Going to be handing these out at Christmas this year!
