I gave the Muhle Closed Comb head a fair shake with several shaves, but unfortunately was not very impressed. I tried using it with several different blades of varying aggressiveness, but was unable to get a satisfactory result. However, I do give the Razor Emporium Customer Service Team a resounding 5-Star rating. They are always, without exception, very accessible, very responsive, very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. As expected, the Muhle R89 head is manufactured and plated perfectly, perfect alignment and plating has no defects anywhere. This head is perhaps the most famous in wet shaving but for those who don't know it provides a very comfortable (mild) yet decently efficient shave. Very easy and intuitive to use for daily shaves.
