I like it so far.

To start, I shave head and face so have a fair amount of real estate to shave. Purchased this to add to a small collection and see about using it as my primary razor when not traveling. Have used it with a few different blades and absolutely love it! The weight is perfect, especially when blind shaving on the back of my head and neck. It took a few shaves to get used to the adjustment from mild to aggressive. Had a few nicks along the way but nothing at all like when I first started wet shaving. Highly recommend this product and if something negative happens, I will add/edit the review. The only bad thing I’ve heard from people who’ve had this a long time is the posts on the cap get rusty rapidly. Candidly, I think they aren’t taking care of the razors but time will tell.

This DE razor is excellent. Better than I expected. I assumed the blade would chatter due to the amount of space between the blade bed and snap closure but it didn't at setting 1. I also thought the handle would be too slippery when it got wet and soapy. It wasn't. It's easy to load. Looks great. I use this DE razor when my beard has several days growth when I need some horsepower behind the blade. The weight is excellent for a heavy growth. It doesn't fit well in my razor stand unless I place it upside down. I would have like to have seen a box that was laminated so I could place the razor in the box and use it to protect the razor in my dopp kit. If I put the razor in the box a little wet, it will likely not last long from being wet. I used Feather blades, not the Merkur blade that came with it. Setting 1 is perfect for me. I've not tried any other setting. Excellent design. Fills out my razor collection nicely. I still rank my Rex Ambassador above the Merkus Futur but I still really enjoy using it. Overall, I give it a 9.5 out of 10 rating.
