I’ve been wet shaving for many years and have purchased many DE razors. Instantly this razor became one of my all time favorite razor. Fit and finish, adjustability and ease of use all add up to a very comfortable shave. Razor Emporium is truly the one place to shop for all your shaving needs. I like the razor, but don’t like the handle. I find it to be slick and too narrow when shaving. The razor head is good, just not going thru the learning curve.

Works as advertised, just wish the handle was an inch longer. It will just take getting used to the short handle.

So, I'd probably give this razor about a 4.7 if it were an option. There are a couple reasons why it's short of a 5. First, my story behind the pirchase. I had bought the King C. Gillette from Wal-Mart, which worked fine, but it was really slippery to hold and it was just too mild of a razor for even my light to medium hair growth. Now, enter this adjustable gem. It's like a hot knife through butter. It's very comfortable to use and hold. It's a sexy razor minus the yellow knob. The three things I didn't like are mainly minor or personal preference. 1) The top cap must be positioned a specific way or it won't work. 2) The tiny dot marking the 1-5 aggressiveness is difficult to see especially when wet (I painted it with nail polish to see it better). 3) Be careful turning the dial because I was messing around with mine when I first got it and the parts inside the razor handle came out. With the spring loaded tension and everything it was challenging to put back together. Overall, excellent razor, I would definitely buy it again. I've had three other DE razors in the past and this one is my favorite.
