The Merkur Slant Bar Double-Edge Safety Razor has an amazingly crafted angled blade guard that performs a slight slicing movement while you are shaving, resulting in an unbelievably close shave. This particular razor is known for its aggressiveness so would be perfect for hair that is thicker or coarser than usual. However, don't be too afraid of it - paired up with the right blade, it is known to be great for sensitive skin too!

Many times, you'll read stories on shaving chatrooms about how this is some hard to use razor or it shouldn't be used if you're new to wet-shaving.
