I've never used a DE razor before and curiosity eventually got the best of me. After watching numerous shaving videos and reviews, I settled on the Merkur 34C. The price was good and it came highly recommended as an entry level razor. Having used Bic Single Blade disposables for most my life, the transition was rather easy. I guess it is considered a "mild" razor. So far, after multiple shaves, I haven't carved myself up once and have never had as close a shave.

This was The pick for my first DE razor and has proved to be my favorite go to ever since . Perfect weight and balance , shorter handle . Provides a very comfortable and close shave with zero irritation . Honestly I picked it from a line up just because it looked and felt good on my hand . I took to it naturally from the first shave and still love it today . Outstanding comfortable shave , excellent fit , finish and build quality . Can't go wrong with this one .

This is an item that you can hold and feel what exactly what it is that you paid for... Excellent quality. Nice and heavy, great chrome plating, and a good fit and finish. You get what you pay for!
