This stand a well-made, nice and hefty piece of kit.

This stand is solid and is a huge step up from the cheap one that I bought from before. The only down side I noticed was during assembly the threads seemed a little tight. They would start just fine but seemed to bottom out before making full contact with the base. The top portion of the stand with the holders threaded just fine and locked up well. I am overall very happy with the purchase and glad to have something to hold my brush, straight razor, and safety razor.

The stand I received was defective as the base was tapped incorrectly.

This stand is awesome. Have my brush and razor and my wife's brush and razor. Stacked the shave soaps next to it. Now we have our own little shave corner. Saves space and looks cool. Not too big, not too small, just right. I figured I wouldn't have a need to disassemble it so I used some gorilla glue on the base and head to keep it locked in. Worked out perfect. Very happy with my purchase.
