Seems like a decent safety razor for only $20 plus you get to use it with Feather's awesome razor blades. Am curious to see if feather blades do better in the Feather razor than in Merkel Razor. So far I can't tell a difference in performance.

Smooth, comfortable shave with the Popular and Feather blade that came with it. The razor is light as a feather and easy to wield. Great ergonomics with the long handle that affords a solid grip. I oiled the door hinges, TTO rod, and knob before the first use. The mechanism is now silky smooth. Inexpensive with lots of plastic, but tight manufacturing tolerances mean there is no need to adjust the blade position after loading. I judge the shave as medium on the aggressiveness scale. Goes well with Mitchell's Wool Fat and a cold water shave. This was my first experience with anything from Feather. When I use a new shaving product I like to give it a full week before I give it a thumbs up or down. Seven shaves with the Popular and I have a big smiley face.
