    Feather Blade

I have been using a van Der Hagen DE with VDH blades around a beard for the past few years. Recently I have become and enthusiast. I have now tried a few other blades. All the Hype on this blade is accurate. I am going to try a fresh feather in my shavette as soon as I get a little more proficient and it is as good on the shavette as the DE I will probably by a 100 pack and never look back. SUPERIOR quality. Maybe next year I will put one in the REX supply razor. Thank you, Razor Emporium. Great service.

    Feather Blades

Like butter. I have a sensitive face and I use the Rex Envoy and at first, yeh I thought I made a mistake cause like I said previously, I have a sensitive face. After some practice all I use is the feather now. It’s silky smooth when I really take my time. When I’m kinda in a hurry, I take a bit more time and it still works well. Don’t let the sharpness intimidate you. Work at the technique and the blade sharpness will fall into place.

    My first choice in blades

Very sharp and very smooth. But the razor/blade combo makes the difference. It’s great on my sensitive skin but I use it in a Edwin Jagger DE86 AND ITS A VERY MIKD COMBO. Yet still just the right aggression. Overall it’s a very good blade.

    Sharp indeed

These blades are differently sharp it makes shaving much nicer but tricky to use. I use a Rockwell 6s razor in number 4 setting currently. With these blades it shaves nice, I get some irritation from them but nothing after shave stops. However if you are not careful they will cut you quick. It could just be me mostly likely. But I tend to get cut easily on my neck and around my chin more then other blades i tired so far. I switch to using Gillette platinum and find I don’t cut myself as much often where they are a tad duller then feather.
