Comparing Brands

Bought mild set, sensitive set and top ten set. Made a record sheet and working down thru all. If you don't find what you like here, try a different razor. These go from mild to aggressive. I'm using a Rockwell 6c first after using a straight razor for years. Different blades do make a difference. Tried a cheap razor (no brand) off Ebay and took a few days to heal before next shave. I'm using #2 setting on the R to keep variables to a minimum. Use same prep, preshave, and soap. Correct technique is important. So far, I like the Feather most, but still have 5 or 6 others to try. Coarse hair and sensitive skin is a challenge to the blade. All have been better than my trusty Boker straight. Try a few different brands and you'll find a comfortable shave that's as close as you desire.
