I struggle with finding a blade that’s sharp and will cut without tugging. I also have sensitive skin. I’m only on the first blade but notice a difference in quality. Can’t wait to try the rest.

Full disclosure... I have only used the Astra Blue and Astra Green blades so far but the customer service alone warrants five stars. I have made a few more purchases from Razor Emporium and without fail, they have delivered on all fronts. I bought a ‘66 Gillette razor from my birth year and am using these blades with that, a badger brush and Geo F Trumpers sandlewood cream and skin food. Everything has been top shelf and I can wholeheartedly recommend all these products for anyone, but especially the first timers like myself. I have gotten a couple of nicks with the learning curve but all told I can’t believe I waited this long to start shaving this way. I’ll never go back to junky disposables or high dollar ripoff cartridges again.

I got this pack right after I received my new Viking Blades shaving kit a couple of months ago. I started out using the blades that came with the shaving kit which were labeled beginner blades. After a used one of those I tried the level one blades from the razor emporium kit. That was so much better than the ones that came with the razor that I threw the rest of the those away. Then I worked my way up through the various levels of blades in the pack. I’ve worked all the way up to level five and haven’t had a single cut or nick. Each level felt better than the last, except the last two, level III and level five, felt about the same. Now I’ll begin to shave switching between these two levels until I decide which I like best. This razor pack is an excellent way to get started DE shaving. I’ll buy the rest of my blades from razor emporium because I’m so happy with this first pack. Great product!

I bought this beginner pack right after I got my new shaving kit (Viking Blade) because I didn’t know what I like. I shaved the first few times with the beginning blades that came with the razor. Then I tried the level 1 blades in this pack and couldn’t believe how much better they were than the ones that came with the kit! I threw the rest of the Viking blades away. Over the last 2 months, I’ve tried one each of every grade in the kit. Each one seemed better than the last except for the last 2 (levels 3.5 & 5), which seemed about the same to me. Haven’t gotten a single nick or cut in my first 2 months of DE shaving. I’ll now start switching between the 3.5s and the 5s that are left to decide which I want to buy more of. This pack is a great set for someone like me.
