This is a nice smooth blade. I liked it a lot. But comparing the Derby Premium to the Derby Extra it seems lower on the shave scale. Very close second.

This is a nice blade....it doesn't work in al my razors, but I put one in my E.J. 3ONE6....and Whoa, that was a great shave! I will typically shave 4 maybe 5 times a week, I've gotten a week's worth of shaves from the first blade with no issues at all! I did try a blade in the new Gillette Aristocrat....now that didn't work out so well, but I'm going to give it one more try before switching to something different in the Gillette.....

I was impressed by the smoothness of this blade given the love ‘em or leave ‘em attitude of the Derby greens. Indeed sharper & worthy of four shaves for me (including the melon). No irritation in either my R41 or Super 109 dialed to ‘9’. Buy with confidence from RE. It’s always a pleasurable, hassle-free experience with these folks.

I've tried alot of blades but I really keep coming back these. They're sharp but not like a Feather blade. They're more on the comfort side but also give you a close shave. Excellent blade for people starting out and great for the Vet DE user.
