What is the Best Double Edge Blade?

We get asked all the time by rookies and vets alike, "What is the best blade?" We wish we knew the answer, we wish we could save you from the trial and error of DE blade selection. Problem is, razor blades are like tennis shoes: it's hard to recommend any one brand to a shaver, instead it's much more effective to try a few and decide for yourself.
We suggest purchasing a sample pack and using 2 blades from the same brand before moving on. This will allow you to have several shaves to experience the aggressiveness, forgiveness, durability, and economy of that particular blade! It's also helpful to keep a gold pencil or pen near your shave den to right down any observances you may forget!
