I just bought a 1960 Gillette FATBOY Adjustable Vintage Safety Razor Date Code F1 and decided to release it with the popular Astra Superior Stainless (Blue) Double Edge (DE) Blades, the result was excellent. A perfect shave without any cut of the skin. This blade adapts very well to my sensitive skin. If I do not find another competitive brand that surpasses it, I would definitely continue using them.

Used these in my Parker Variant Adjustable razor and they were amazing. Possibly the best shave I have had in a long time. These will be in my permanent rotation.

For fairly sensitive skin, give these blades a try. It’s amazing how different blades gives different shaves. I have tried about a dozen different blades since last June trying to find the right ones for my face - something not too sharp and not too dull - the Astra blues are great. They have given me 4 shaves on one blade very effectively and hold up to pre-shaves and heavy creams. They don’t rough up your neck line and gives an all around smooth close shave every time.
