Description

A History of Shaving and Razors is a classic book by Phillip L. Krumholz. It is very rare and hard to find! Included is his other written work on razors - Value Guide for Barberiana & Shaving Collectables. Both are out of print at this point and available electronically. Two for one special! E-book

Please note: these books were written in the 1990's and the valuations for razors are out of date. The history and detailed information is not however- these are essential guides if you are starting a razor collection or have questions about this hobby.

    Books having worth to read

These books are written by Phillip L. Krumholz and out of print, but now we can luckily read them as e-books. "A History of Shaving and Razors" (Ad Libs Publishing, 1987) has 313 pages, and it has a detailed history of shaving in the initial part of this book. The rest of this book is just an extremely exhaustive list of manufacturers and brands of shaving items. "Value Guide for Barberiana and Shaving Collectibles" (AdLibs Publishing, 1988) shows lists of many kinds of items from straight razors to Kochen chair with price rates, and shopping guides by authors policy and criterion. As a newcomer to traditional wet shaving, I would like to recommend learning about the history and people from books like these.
