Wow this is a great straight razor! It arrived shave ready although I did strop it. Very well balanced razor and beautiful horn scales. The craftsmanship Ralf puts into these razors is unmatched! I feel privileged to own it. Thanks Razoremporium for carrying such quality razors!

Pertaining to the Olive Wood scaled 6/8 RA.... I accidentally stated half hollow. I meant full hollow.

First, I would like to say that the customer service (Dj) was excellent at helping me with my purchases. I was fortunate enough to obtain the only full blonde scaled version available at the time of this purchase. It's absolutely gorgeous and has substantial heft! The description states these razors are 100% shave ready from RA. Was this accurate? Actually, Yes! It was most definitely shave ready straight from the box. However, was it the sharpest it could be. IMO, no. But to be fair, I have very coarse, dense beard growth. And I find, unless professionally honed, I typically don't get peak performance from any str8. I wanted to try the edge as was first and have to admit I was actually impressed. I'd definitely recommend a RA razor. I was so impressed that I actually purchased another 6/8 RA about a week afterwards from RE. Another Spanish Point, but in Olive Wood scales and a half hollow this time.

I recently purchased this razor 100% satisfied this is a great shaver edge is top notch smooth very well balanced nice heft feels good in the hand and on the face I highly recommend this shaver extremely well made does not disappoint
