Beautiful piece of work, this razor. Horn scales are gorgeous and the fit and finish are very nice. Description states that it was honed shave ready by Ralf himself. Not quite, but almost, at least not for my beard. There is the slightest perceived tug. I have a 16,000 grit stone ordered but that's okay, was going to order one anyway. However, I cannot stress that the craftsmanship, weight, and balance of this razor is exceptional. The Latigo strop is also an example of fine craftsmanship.

This is a beautiful razor. I bought this razor as a second razor but think it's going to be my main one. Arrived sharp and ready to go. Razor arrived faster then told it would. I will be buying even more from Razor Emporium and Rolf Aust.

I ordered this razor as my beginner razor and it's perfect - feels solid in my hand, perfect size (5'8"), round tip provides extra safety, came super sharp. Top level product and service. Highly recommend it!
