This razor comes with an aftermarket key that was made by a previous owner. It works well, but its not the original.

This razor was made especially for Mental Hospitals or Prisons where the inmate would not be granted access to a razor blade. The guard would come around and use the key to unlock the top cap so that a blade could be inserted into place before use by the inmate. 

This beautiful razor has been carefully restored, buffed/polished, ultra-sonically cleaned, and sanitized bringing it to Shave Ready condition for your shaving pleasure!
